I'm a drummer and bass player mainly, dabbling in song writing, production, editing and mastering.Artists I've gigged or recorded with: Vanessa Mae, The Who, Pete Townshend, Amy MacDonald, Nik Kershaw, Toyah Willcox, Mark Owen, Rachel Fuller, Scarlet, Voice of the Beehive, Chesney Hawkes, Alex Parks, A1, Tricky, 3rd Edge, Judie Tzuke, and many lesser known (but not necessarily lesser talented) acts and artists, including the fantastic Rachel Sinnetta (watch this space!).I've been recording and touring professionally for 15 years now, since originally going fully pro in 1993 to join Toyah for an album and two tours.I've been lucky enough to work with some great people along the way, learning about and becoming experienced in all stages of music production and performance, from writing to mastering, and from pub to stadium.I still very much love doing the pub gigs and jam sessions, just for fun (that's why we all started playing right?). I believe that we never stop learning, and this is proven to me every time I play.Currently I'm loving travelling with Vanessa Mae - just in 2007/2008 I will have been to Turkey, Spain, China, Germany, Bulgaria, India, Israel, Baltics States, United States, United Arab Emirates, Russia, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Mauritius, Switzerland... and a little further back all over S.E. Asia, and even two sell out shows in the Sydney Opera House. I love my job!I'm also gigging the UK circuit with Chesney Hawkes, a few tribute bands (Oasish, Stereotonics,& TrueBrit); drumming in Salisbury based party band 'Stiff Joints', and in a new venture with my good friend Rob Berry in 'The Rob Berry Blues Trio', whilst depping for anybody who needs a diligent and reliable bass or drums stand-in.I'm always looking for more gigs/sessions/deps, and more great people to work with.I'd like to think I'm a pretty good value person to have around, especially in the studio (that's where I come alive!), and love to have a laugh while retaining a professional attitude to the job in hand.Anyway, thanks for stifling the yawns, and if I don't know you already I hope to meet and work with you very soon.All the best, Stuee x
