I am here for Friends and Networking

About Me

Hey! I'm Nat, 22yrs old, and have FINALLY finished studying a BA (hons) Photography and Digital Media degree at Cambridge School of Art (ARU). This degree has led me to meet some of the coolest and weirdest people I have ever had the pleasure of meeting!!!!! I live in norf London where my mum lives, as well as Andy and the rest of the enfield massive, who I love dearly! I am working on getting everyone from uni to move here so that they too can experience the joy that is enfield…….well something like that. I am engaged to a hunky monkey named Andy, which is awesome cos he makes me smile. there we go....Right, now on to business! The video below is taken from my major project piece Silent Treatment. I made the piece last year to explore the results of removing verbal communication from a first encounter between two strangers. The guys in the video were invited into the studio to sit opposite each other silently whilst being filmed for the duration of an hour. They were placed on chairs directly opposite each other, with a camcorder focused on each of them just below their eye levels. The pair spoke for the first time after the hour was over and the camcorders were swithched off.A band from Cambridge/London called The Broken Family Band (www.thebrokenfamilyband.com) have now used sections from this project as a music video for their song Its All Over. A version of their video using my film is below (though the version below may go a bit wobbly at times) and is being released later this month . The video is going to be played on MTV2 and in Topshop Oxford Street this month....which is VERY exciting. So, if you have managed to read this far then please check it out, check the band out, and if u are REALLY keen and want to see some of my photographs too (go on u know u wanna!) , then check out my website www.ntdimages.co.uk (its gonna be revamped soon so love it while you still can!). So that’s that! Not wishing to sound like I’ve won an Oscar or something but MASSIVE thank you's going out to Mike and Chase for agreeing to take part in my weirdo project, and for Sean and Jason for taking the interest and helping to make it happen....I never thought a small idea from my little brain could go this far, and it's mind blowing that it has! I guess it's world domination for me next...... ; )Take it easy!Natxxxxxxx
