In real life, I like to meet all sorts of people.
Like minded people are usually the most welcomed,
but variety, as they say, is the spice of life.
I don't want to meet judgmental, materialistic,
closed minded, or arrogant people.
Unfortunately, they seem to find me anyway.
I do have a rich fantasy life though
so daydreaming what I'd like to do to them
more than makes up for their ignorance.
My favorite bands are:
The Cure
Tool
Pink Floyd
Black Sabbath
Siouxsie & The Banshees
Mazzy Star
And a whole bunch of other shit that I'm not going to sit here and list.
I HATE rap, country and bubble gum pop.
I don't like Jimmy Buffett.
I don't like Nickleback.
I don't like Rush.
That's about it.
Alchemy Gothic:
The Heroes section is forevermore a shrine to my mom.
She was one of the most understanding, warm, generous and fun people I have ever had the priveledge of knowing, She was one of my best friends, and the one person I knew I could say anything to, without the fear that she'd turn it against me. She could make anything there is. She could fix anything that could be broken. (including hearts) and I am a better person for having known her.
Miss and Love you Cindy-Jo... where ever you may be....
She's about 15 or so in this pic. I'd say circa 1973. A few years before I came along.
This is my hippy mom and dad. It was taken at my Great-Grandmother's house. (Mom is far left, Dad is far right. Aunt Nance in the middle) Not sure when but it was before me and after high school.
This is my mom with her little sisters Donna & Jody. Mom is on the right.
1974 or 75
Here's my hippy parents again visiting Florida while she was preggers with yours truly.
Skip ahead a few years...
This is mom with my sister when she was a lil one... probably taken in 1981
Skip some more....
Here's one of the few family photos we took. Was taken not too long after mom and dad split up. 1982 or 83
Skip a few more years....
This is the last Christmas we had with her. (she's in red on the couch) My dad and step mom invited her to dinner. That in itself was shocking enough. She went! I'm glad they grew up enough to sit and have a holiday meal together like a real family.
