NEWS!
..Fashionably late as always with the news. First off, there are some new Dorsia artists that I am proud to announce. Kevin Lane- Whitechapel, Chris Campbell- Vanna, Dan- Oceano. Kevin's snare is going to be done just in time for WC's upcoming tour with Suffocation. There are a few more projects going on around here. Some snares and kits in the works. Also, Dorsia will be moving into a new and improved shop soon, so keep an eye out for that! Big things going on, stay tuned!
October 12th, 2008...I really need to get better at updating the news. Obviously a bunch has happened in the last few months. Lets see if I can remember it all. The most recent news in Dorsia picking up Brian Hood from Alabama and Solid State Record's Mychildren Mybride. Brian is currently on tour with Norma Jean and Haste The Day. Check out MCMB's myspace for tour dates to see when that tour will be in your area. His black high gloss with blood red veneer inlay snare is awesome, so check it out!
The shop is super busy right now with some amazing drums, so look forward to some good stuff over the next month or so. Derek Youngsma of California's Bleeding Through approached Dorsia a couple of months ago about an awesome idea involving having To Die For Clothing (www.todieforclothing.com) do a custom paintjob on a Dorsia drum. That is being worked on right now, and will be done soon, so check back in!
So all in all, things are going really well. Busy as always, and just having a good time building rad drums for rad dudes.
Thanks!
Adam
DORSIA
November 18, 2007...Well, it has been a horse year since I last updated, and for this I apologize greatly. The Dorsia Elite is growing more and more every day, and I will take this time to introduce you to some new members.
Greg from School Boy Humor recently hopped on the radwagon, and I am more than pumped to be working with him. Be sure to check out School Boy Humor in Dorsia's top friends.
Jake Lawrence from Ligeia has also hopped on board. His snare will be on it's way out of the shop within a few days, and pictures will be up soon.
This is old news, but since I haven't updated in so long, anything in the last six months is old news. The Banner's Paul Klein's snare has been finished, and shipped out. There will be better pictures of it up soon.
Joel from Colorado's Man The Moon's white sparkle snare with blue and yellow hardware has also recently left the shop, and shipped out to CO.
Last but not least, I welcome Shawn and Benjamin to the Elite. Ben's flat gray and black snare will be out of here within days, and Shawn's black glitter kit will be looking at an early 2008 departure.
That's all for now, but keep checking in for more updates. I promise to update more often, especially now that things have been picking up so much.
May 10th, 2007...There are a handfull of new orders that have recently been finished, including Matt Oulette from Gadgets Made From Wood, Tim Molloy from Our Last Night, Reesh from 100 Demons, and Josh Huskey. I am really pumped on all of the drums, and the new pictures are up, so check them out. I am also very proud to annouce that Paul Klein of The Banner is the newest member of the Dorsia Elite. Keep checking up on his drum which should be done within the next six weeks or so. Thanks!
April 2nd, 2007... New drums done, and the pictures are up! These drums belong to Phil Fonseca, who sadly just parted ways with Ferret Record's Ligeia. Phil is now a free agent, and I am sure he will do well for himself. Make sure to check out his blue striped set in the photo gallery! I would also like to welcome Tim Molloy from Dracut, MA to the Dorsia family. Tim just informed me today that he joined a new band (that will be soon announced) who seem to be doing very well for themselves, so check back soon for that update. His white pearl snare with gold hardware will be done soon enough! There are a bunch of orders being worked on right now, so sit tight. Thanks.
March 22nd, 2007... Started this news section so everyone can be up to date on whats going on with Dorsia. I just got some new orders in. I am proud to announce that Reesh from 100 DEMONS has been added to the Dorsia roster. His Connecticut themed snare is in the early stages right now, and should be done within the next 4-6 weeks. His full set will be started in the near future! I am also welcoming Matt from Gadgets Made From Wood. The band is in Dorsia's top friends, so make sure to check them out, they are sweet. Another artist that just joined the club is Josh from The Stand from Missouri. So make sure to check in, these drums will be done soon enough! There are also a few more artists that are about to be a part of the family, so keep checking the myspace. Thanks!
A professional site is in the works, but until then, this myspace will do.
