About Me

I edited my profile with Thomas Myspace Editor V3.6 !
Orlando, FL. --- Originally from New York, Rob Dexter has developed an impressive career as an aggressive modern hard rock bass player and singer while developing his songwriting skills. His style is melodic and full of emotion, but still manage to rock harder than almost anything out there today.
Rob began his career playing with the metal band BATTLE BRATT. Today, their CD has resurfaced across the globe and is considered a collectors item among metal enthusiasts. Rob played bass for illusionist/singer Criss Angel for 3 years. Jeff Young from the metal band Megadeth used Rob for his solo project after leaving the group.
Year 2000, Rob Dexter and his group Kabang move to Orlando, FL. The Disney Corporation hires the band to perform at Pleasure Island and continue to for the last five years.
Kabang releases their first original CD in 2003 called Equilibrium. Rob plays bass and takes on the role of vocalist. The CD receives critical acclaim in German magazine Rock Hard; Behind the Veil Ezine, Greece; Russias Dark City magazine and U.S. publications Inside Connection and Axis Magazine. Kabang has opened for acts such as Godsmack, Tantric, Fuel and Seether.
Rob recently recorded with Grammy winning producer/engineer Jason Corsaro (Soundgarden, Madonna, Motorhead) at the famed Avatar Studios in New York City on tracks for the upcoming Kabang CD Degeneration. Jason was able to capture Robs aggressive bass playing and monster voice on tape. Robs voice has been compared to Ian Astberry of The Cult, Soils vocalist Ryan McCombs and Corrosion of Conformitys Pepper Keenen but with his own style.

Through this album the vocals are the thing that strike you, as they have more melody then your average screaming metal and are more defining then the music itself. (Room Thirteen England)
In Fact, this is one of the most cliché-free discs weve heard in quite some time. ( Connections magazine U.S.A.)
The cool gritty vocals of Rob Dexter ensure a big rock experience. (Obliveon Magazine Germany)
