Kaya, Music, Books, Independent music and movies, activism, and revolutionary shit
I would like to meet stimulating people who have something good to say about whatever, i also want to meet extroverted people who dont just think about themselves, i am tired of greed driven people who care only about vanity, but i would love to meet those people too
I like mostly political/radical based music. I like crust and anarcho/peace punk, i love indigenous mayan or incan music. I like rastafarian reggae, and some Indepen. hip-hop
War against the Third world, and those B-movies with sick anti capitalist subliminal shit, also some anything w/ Vincent price is pretty trippy
i dont watch tv much, it rots your innocence, if i do it is only to watch the bbc, british news seems more progressive and unbiased. but other dumb shit gets overwhelming, the corprate bullshit starts stinking up the tv room, and i hate the feeling and smell of apathetical bliss through capitalist entertainment
one of my favorites is The Pedagogy of the Oppressed, by Paulo Freirie. about the foundation and intricate tactics oppressive governments use to exploit and suppress human rights and rights to exist as equal individuals. i also like Eduardo Galeano's work. I like to read other independant zines//pamphlets and //leaflets about animal rights and and human liberation. stuff like revolutionary worker, YACCO, and crimethinc. educating ourselves is important and it keeps us up to times about what's up around the world and in our communities
nah, not heroes but ancertors and the indigenous wise men, women, and nations that came before me, their need for decolonization, their resistance and call for organized existance against imperialism, this is for them
