About Me

My email address is [email protected]
Check out this link www.bandinmyhand.com The makers of these wonderful purses were at a recent craft fair I visited and where I bought from them The Beatles "Abbey Road" record purse! They do such great work with a huge selection of albums (go to the index to see the alphabetical order of artist) to choose from, with top notch quality (sides and straps are leather and the cover is waterproof) they make a good gift for others or yourself and they can do custom personalized work too-just ask :) Plus they are officially licensed too! Below are pictures of my own purse that I purchased from them :)
Pictures from the July 7th show I went to in Tolono, IL at Radmaker's to see Enuff Z' Nuff are on there site at their messageboard at this link...

Wise advice from father to son on women...
"No son, don't trust anything that bleeds for five days and does not die because they are obviously much stronger than you are, and will soon dominate your entire world and everything in it. Your best bet is to submit to their wishes, willingly, while you can."

Yes, I'm a big Tori Amos fan, I just found this picture again below, I remember it from a magazine and for awhile had it framed in my room, love this picture :p
First off, my name is Amanda Mayfield but if you are wondering where I came up with my myspace tag name (the one at the end of the address) "Lady Midnight" just look at the Leonard Cohen song as you scroll down, I've loved that one for years and it seemed fitting :)
My website is called "Enuff Z' Nuff Stuff" www.geocities.com/crazyspin77 that has been up since March 2004.

Oh, and if you are on my friends list, please refrain from using any course language or really suggestive pictures, just use common sense. I'm not a prude, I'm just not into that on this kind of public forum. Anything along that line will be deleted, I've had to do that before. And if you know I don't know who you are better to write me first if you want to be on my friends list :)<

My Interests

I'd like to meet:

Leonard Cohen. He's a poet/singer/writer whose work goes back to the 60's. Me and some friends discovered this old cassette tape of "Songs Of Leonard Cohen" after we got out of high school in 95' and were hooked even though that was'nt the music we would typically listen to. He's still putting out great music even in his 70's, his son Adam also sings, his latest cd from Oct. 2004 is called "Dear Heather". You can find out more about his at www.leonardcohenfiles.com There are many others I would love to meet, but he's at the top of the list. I've been fairly lucky (dumb luck) with meeting other singers through the years so I can't complain.

Lady Midnight..
I came by myself to a very crowded place;..
I was looking for someone who had lines in her face...
I found her there but she was past all concern;..
I asked her to hold me, I said, "Lady, unfold me,"..
but she scorned me and she told me..
I was dead and I could never return...
Well, I argued all night like so many have before,..
saying, "Whatever you give me, I seem to need so much more."..
Then she pointed at me where I kneeled on her floor,..
she said, "Don't try to use me or slyly refuse me,..
Just win me or lose me,..
it is this that the darkness is for."..
I cried, "Oh, Lady Midnight, I fear that you grow old,..
the stars eat your body and the wind makes you cold."..
"If we cry now," she said, "it will just be ignored."..
So I walked through the morning, sweet early morning,..
I could hear my lady calling,..
"You've won me, you've won me, my lord,..
you've won me, you've won me, my lord,..
yes, you've won me, you've won me, my lord,..
ah, you've won me, you've won me, my lord,..
ah, you've won me, you've won me, my lord."
