About Me

I live in Pensacola, which is my hometown. It is where I went to school from 6th grade on and then lived till I got married at age 21. I have 2 sisters and one brother. I married a Naval Flight Officer and have lived in many different places and together we have made many memories and three children. :) I have 2 grandchildren and 2 step-grandchildren. We have just built our dream/retirment home on the water and I wake everyday and realize just how blessed I am!

My Interests

Things I like: Reading Romance Novels (sometimes in a nice hot bath full of bubbles), spending time with friends and family, hanging out with my husband, watching my son perform in plays, seeing the smile on my grandson's face, bowling,solitare on the computer,Football:High School, college (Go Navy, Beat Army), Pro, watching team sports,laughing and making memories THINGS I DON'T LIKE: Liars People who think the world revolves around them Litterbugs Rap/Heavy Metal music-YUCK! Those that ruin a good thing for the rest of us Ungrateful and Discourteous people Parents who don't Parent People who take advantage of others Smokers...they smell and harm others with the smoke Women who don't value themselves...it's not that I don't like them really I just wnat to shake them! :)

I'd like to meet:

Jacqueline Kennedy, Barbara and Laura Bush, and the characters from my Romance novels. :)

Music:

Country music is my favorite. But I like most music that "has a great beat that you can dance to". :) I love to dance. NO Rap or Heavy metal...it gives me a headache!

Movies:

I like classic movies. Those that had true actors with talent in them. I like movies that have strong leading men that succumb to the beautiful leading lady. Where gratuitous sex/violence is not needed to make people want to watch it.

Television:

I don't watch too much TV, but when I do and the shows are on I watch: Bachelor/Bachelorette, Dancing with the Stars, Law and Order-the original,any legal show or mystery Sunday/Monday football, some History Channel shows.

Books:

Favorite Authors: Stephanie Laurens, Johanna Lindsay, Jo Goodman, Victoria Alexander, Christina Dodd, Nicole Jordan and Sherrilyn Kenyon for my Romance Novels. Jonathon and Faye Kellerman for their Alex Delaware and Peter Decker Police Mysteries. And Janet Evanovich's Stephanie Plum Books. I also LOVED the "Left Behind" Series.

Heroes:

My Lord Jesus Christ (willing to love and die for the undeserving-ME), Military (Active, Reserve and Retired), My children(they have hung in there for all our military moves and did so with support for their dad's career), My parents and G'Parents, and last but certainly not least my husband...he is a most honorable man! ..
