Brief Bio
It began in a classroom in Harvey, IL......Ekko made his first "desk beat" for the older catz freestyling at lunchtime at Whittier. From that day....it's been a wrap. Ekko is a man that has a genuine passion for music. Ekko started rapping when he was 10, rapping against classmates and friends. Along with rapping, he would make the beat for the freestyle battles, whether it was beatbox or just beating on the desk, he was the beat man. Ekko started making real beats when he was in 7th grade, and even though he noticed the lack of skill on himself, the music kept calling him back to try harder. It quickly took over his life and since then, making beats has been the Number 1 thing to do. EKKOS LOVES ALL MUSIC. Ekko looks at making beats as a form of art, because it can express a person's style or tell a story through guitars, pianos, strings, etc........that might be a little too much for some of you to understand, but a true musician understands what I'm talking about. Ekko's biggest accomplishment to date is the recording of Jim Jones ft. Stack Bundles- Ya Dig. This track is considered to be one of his hardest songs to date and the mixtape that it was released on opened up alot more ears to him and Stack Bundles(R.I.P.) At this point, my focus is to create a buzz for Ekko Da Villain and get major artists and labels intersted in his beats because the
