Talk Inc. Radio was established in March of 2004 as a pilot show on 90.1 fm KZSU. Hosted by Tello and Sue Dangerous, the show turned out to be a tremendous hit with listeners from the home base, Stanford University and it's surrounding communities.
Based on the concept of an actual talk show, they focus guest interviews around discussion and topics ranging from current events, sports, fashion, news, gossip, entertainment and of course, the independent artist, as well as hard hitting issue such as AIDS, gay awareness, violence, teen pregnecy and other interesting issues while playing an aray of rap, hip hop, r&b, reggae, and reggaeton from independent artist.
With powerful messeages and topics, Talk Inc. Radio soon became well known throught out the Bay Area and as well as being heard around the world in countries like Canada, Australia and the United Kingdom. With word of mouth, promoting, listeners, fans and past artists who have appeared on the show, Tello and Sue saw this as an opportunity to get the music of independent artists played on the show. They also wanted to promote other aspects of entertainment such as independent movements in fashion, concerts, special events, graphics desigers, models, magazines, promoters, producers, DJ's and so on.
Talk Inc. Radio has interviewed new artist such as BrownFolke, Young Tae and Tha Spitta, to favorite artists like Devino, G-Dub, Aman, and GTA, and artists on the rise like J. Valentine, Bailey and BET's very own Ultimate Hustla's, B. Dot.
As independent entrepenures themselves, Sue and Tello continue to support artist and folks in the industry and play independent music from the Bay Area, with the help of their mentor and resident DJ, DJ Johnny Afro, their fast rising radio show has taken over the air waves and the internet. Now they have expanded their playlist to include spinning music from independent artist around the globe from France to the United Kingdom, to national artist in St. Louis, Texas, Ohio, New York, Chicago and Atlanta. The Independent Music Movement Network continues to grow as well as their listeners and fans base.
