About Me

I'm a workaholic. I sing in the choir at St. John's Episcopal Cathedral. I love football and baseball, though I am more of a college football fan than a pro fan. I love to be outside kayaking, walking, or playing at the park with my little sister. Yes, I do play on all the equipment with all the other little kids. I'm learning how to play piano and I am hoping to take vioce lessons in the next few months. Ummm... that's about it.

My Interests

Most of my friends say I'm an old woman trapped inside a young body. I enjoy singing (but not for my co-workers! Why did I make that stupid bet?), reading, cooking, dancing (I'm not very good at that. Think Elaine from Seinfeld.), and shopping. I think the last one might be an addiction. I apparently have a problem cracking really lame jokes in public when I go out with my friend DW. Now I've turned it into a goal.

I'd like to meet:

Your Mom! Ha ha. I am so not cool. Anyone who shares similar interests. Hot guys who are smart and like sports. I'm not dating another guy who won't go to football and baseball games with me! Neal Boortz and Sean Hannity. The person that discovered coffee, my hero. I'd like to meet several people from history, but too many to name.

Music:

Dave Mathews, Coldplay, Snowpatrol, Postal Service, Death Cab for Cutie, The Cure, John Lgend, Diana Krall, and I'm drawing a blank. I own so many cd's and can't think of another name. I love Indie Rock. I don't love the fact that I'm one of the oldest people at the club listening to it, but what can you do? I really like most styles of music.

Movies:

My favorite two movies are An Affair to Remember and Princess Bride. Anything from the 80's brat pack. I just watched Little Miss Sunshine and thought it was one of the funniest movies I've seen in a long time.

Television:

Grey's Anatomy, Boston Legal, Brothers and Sisters, Rome, and Sopranos.

Books:

Not reading anything currently. Reading tip: Never ever try to read a 900 page book of short stories! It was the worst idea I've ever had. It took nearly a year. I had to put it down for several weeks at a time.

Heroes:

My grandfather. He was one of the greatest and smartest people I've ever known.
