His vocal style is that of years of performing combined with lifes experiences and heart felt projection. From Blues to Rockabilly DaltonJerry is a Guitarist who sings. DaltonJerry performs as the frontman and guitarist for the Bluenotecats Trio. DaltonJerrys original compositions reveal the stylings of traditional guitarists and hot picking rockabilly guitar-slingers. As a guitarist DaltonJerry has a passion for complex lead lines and melodic combinations finding resemblance to guitarists such as Brian (Bop-a-billy) Setzer, SRV and many others.Elan Tribo stared playing music when I was 10 years old. I played clarinet for a year and switched to saxophone, which I played for 4 years. The first time Elan picked up a bass he was 13 and wanted to try out for jazz band. But didn't decide to play bass until he was 17. He saw Victor Wooten playing with Béla Fleck and the Flecktones playing a song by the name of Sinister Minister and Elan was hooked on bass. So he asked his dad to show him the basics . His father was a bassist from the 60's psychedelic rock n' roll era. When Elan was 4 years old he remembers watching his dads band practice and getting to play the drums with them. That's why Elan fell in love with music. Elan listens to a lot of music and was additionally influenced heavily by JACO PASTORIUS . Elan then studied jazz performance and music theory in College . Listening to everything from Jazz to Punk ,the genre of Rockabilly and especially Rockabilly slap bass got in his blood. So Elan got an upright bass and started teaching himself how to play Rockabilly slap bass. Listening to some of the best Rockabilly slap Bassist's he could find on disc and vinyl. Elan finds his influences with the veteran Lee Rocker and prodigy Djordje Stijepovic to name just a few.Greg Gallup grew up in the Chino Hills in San Bernadino County, California. Began playing drums at age 15. Performed and played in the Rockabilly Band the Dresdens while in high school and discovering his first love Rockabilly music. Currently he can be found studying Music in the Jazz Performance Curriculum at Sonoma State University. Greg is active in the Recording Arts program at Sonoma State University. Greg is a Music Major learning the performance of drums with George Marsh in the Jazz Ensemble at S.S.U. Greg is also Director Of his Church Choir. Greg is the cat that brings a wealth of knowledge and technique for drumming American Roots Music to the Bluenotecats. Specific to Rockabilly and Rock N' Roll, but also the ability to expand into other genre's and original compositions. Greg site's Slim Jim Phantom and W.S. Holland as favorites. The Bluenotecats is Greg's solid band and he has proven himself to be a professional musician and performer in that trio.ABOUT Djordje Stijepovic:Greg and DaltonJerry met Djordje in October 2004. Immeadiatley it was obvious to us that our friend was a phenominal Slap Bassist. Djordje joined the Bluenotecats. Djordje is a "in demand player". And rightly so. We find him to be a brilliant musician. He has recorded with the Bluenotecats and we plan a release and celebration soon! We can't make Djordje our one and only, we have to be big enough to let the world have Djordje in all the aspects of music that he has mastered. When schedule will allow, he will play with us again..
