Raised in Salem, Oregon. She began acting at the age of 9. Her first production was Oliver with Patrick Page as Fagan. Amanda was part of Cast E 1993 Up With People. After completing her Bachelors in The Arts, Amanda furthered her training at A.C.T. in San Francisco. She continued into a three year acting program at Birmingham School of Speech and Drama(Birmingham School of Acting) in Birmingham, England. Some of her roles have included Frankie in "Frankie and Johnny" at the Blue Heron Theatre, Nana in "Nana," Joanne in "Come Back to the Five and Dime Jimmy Dean Jimmy Dean," Nancy in "The Women," and the Blue Fairy in, "When You Fracture a Fairytale;" the original musical written by Lindsey Hblasko, performed at the Sturges Theatre in San Bernardino, California. She played Rose in the radio drama, "A Piece of My Heart." Her most recent performance was in Break Out Into Song: Don't Rain on My Parade/Anything Goes.
She has recently completed Cold Reading/Monologues from Karen Kolhaas. Aside from acting, Amanda has also trained in Basic Stunts and Aerial Stuntwork at United Stuntmen's Association. She just finished training in Car Stunts with Drivers East.
She is a proud member of A.F.T.R.A. One of her dreams is to play Aldonza in "Man of La Mancha." Aside from acting, Amanda was blessed to work as an elementary school teacher for many years. She enjoys meeting new people and traveling.Here are my online resumes:modelwires.com
