Jimmy Cain is a vocalist and guitar player from Indianapolis, IN where he has lived most of his life. Born in Oregon, his parents and Jimmy moved to Indy when he was an infant where the family grew by leaps and bounds supplying Jimmy with his brother Matt and sisters Molly and Mary Clare.
Growing up in Indiana in the 70s and 80s supplied Jimmy with a rich musical heritage descended from notable Hoosiers such as John Mellencamp and Axl Rose as well as David Lee Roth and a pantheon of local and regional singers, songwriters and musicians. He had a modicum of success with his first band Snakeskin Cowboy in the late 80s and early 90s.
After his band broke up Jimmy spent several years performing solo or in various short lived projects until finally reuniting with Snakeskin Cowboy ace guitarist Scott Newbold. Jimmy and Scott now roam the roads of the Midwest and beyond finding new audiences to perform in front of wherever they find them and delivering great classic Americana music to the masses.
