What can be said about the state of music? What do we need to do to regain the respect we once had for the art we loved? These are questions O.B has asked himself ever since he enclosed himself in music. He started out as a member of a group called SHADOW LAW which consisted of various members from South London. Due to the situation he was placed in, and his piano playing background, he started to make instrumentals for the group which made him a local beatsmith. Future events would see him team up with longtime friend and fellow musician Seven Chapters, which would result in the birth of ANL. 2004 saw the duos debut onto the UK scene, with the arrival of TOMMORROW NEVER DIES. The project, produced and arranged by ANL, featured some the UK's hottest up and coming artists, and demanded respect from all listeners. Alongside been one of the most prolific and consistent beat makers, this humble musician can handle the mic in ways which would put most MC's to shame. 2005 was a productive year behind the scenes for this young veteran, working on projects for many artists such as Nine Keyz, Creamo, Temps Twin Souls Blade & Arcane, but, in 2006 we see OB step into the limelight with the ghetto fabolous "Out The Booth" CD. Produced & arranged by himself Twin Souls & DJ Lightfinger, this CD is about to put Hip Hop/Soul back on the map, not just for the UK, but for the world.
He has also been working constantly in the lab with equally tallented visionary Fingerprint to build the unstopable production duo MAGIC TOUCH PRODUCTIONS. They have worked on remixes from Adina Howard, Christina Aguliera Tiesh o Day Chris Brown and many more. Have a listen to the begining of UK production at its best.
