My Interests

Interests? Let me tell you about interests: at 4.5% on all balance transfers, you could sell your soul to a credit card company and then beg for forgiveness when the bailiffs come knocking at your door, now that you're on your knees, what use are your logo-splattered jeans, when what they cost could feed and clothe the poor? You may not have learned but at least you'll that know you'll never die a dignified death when you're a label whore. Happy shopping on your credit cards you fuckers!!

I'd like to meet:

Artists/photographers/musicians/writers/misfits with kind hearts and open minds

Music:

Stimulants: The Stones, Hendrix, Velvet Underground, Libertines, Misfits, The Band, Beatles, The Sonics, The Zombies, Sonic Youth, Janis Joplin, Howlin' Wolf, Iggy and the Stooges, Patti Smith, The Clash, Chuck Berry, Muddy Waters, Bob Dylan, Thee Machine Gun Elephant, The Vipers, The Cribs, Robert Johnson, Paul Butterfield Blues BandSedatives: Elliot Smith, Nick Drake, Joni Mitchell, Karen Dalton, John Lee Hooker, Sufjan Stevens, Kelly Joe Phelps, Gram Parsons, Cannonball Adderley, Sam Cooke, Van Morrison, Bob Dylan, The Doors, Aimee Man, Abdullah Ibrahim, Mingus, Miles Davis, Thelonious, Nina Simone

Movies:

I love 60's Jean Luc Godard films - A bout de souffle, le mepris, une femme est une femme, Band a part, Alphaville, Le Petit Soldat etc Also love Wong Kar Wai - Chungking Express, In The Mood For Love, Ashes of Time, As Tears Go By, Days Of Being Wild etc, And any french arthouse - The Piano Teacher, Le Dernier Metro, La Fille Sur La Pont, Nikita, Cyrano De Bergerac, Delicatessen, City Of Lost Children, Amelie, The Horseman on the Roof....Also the ORIGINAL Star Wars trilogy, Indiana Jones Trilogy and Back to The Future. (Z)

Television:

TV is a false reality to distract people from the REAL problems and events in our world = like a mass babysitting device so politicians and war mongers can carry out their evil plans unnoticed whilst feeding the nation lies and insecurities to sell goods and services. TV is for suckers!

Books:

Dosteyevsky, Haruki Murakami, Gabriel Garcia Marquez, Kerouac, William Burroughs, George Orwell, Clockwork Orange by Anthony Burgess, Jean Baudrillard, Roland Barthes, Hemingway, Interview with a vampire by Anne Rice, Anything by Sylvia Plath, F. Scott Fitzgerald, Wuthering Heights by Emily Bronte, Manga by Miyazaki, comics by Frank Miller, Neil Gaiman and Alan Moore. And basically anything that has words in between two covers I'll probably read it....I'm a geek.

Heroes:

All my heroes are dead...but I do like Holden Caulfield, Lord Henry Wotton, Philip 'Pip' Pirrip, Rodion Raskonikov, Edmund Dante, Rupert Pupkin, Tyler Durden....yeah I know they aren't REAL people but they are immortalized in print and celluloid forever which means they are neither dead or alive so I guess they are a kind of undead, but on a more physical plane I do like Elliott Smith, Arthur Rimbaud, James Dean, Jimi Hendrix, Marlon Brando, Jim Morrison, Sylvia Plath, Kurt Cobain, Lord Byron and John Lennon....I think you get the picture....Fuck I think I might be little bit disturbed, hopefully my insanity will spread amongst you dear readers, that read this shit (through some sort of psycho-technological information super highway osmosis) and will make the world a much more interesting, poetic, chaotic, romantic, anarchic place.....

My Blog

Food for thought....
