About Me

BACKGROUND IN MUSICDouble Shot is a sister rap duo out of the Twin Cities, Minnesota. This group’s flavors in tracks ranging from crunk to smooth and everything in between. Subject matter ranges from the serious relationship issues faced, to the comedy in these, and other situations.Double Shot has been together for life as sisters, but musically for the last three years. Entertainment has always been a passion for Double Shot. The duo currently have completed 10 songs and are pushing to release their debut CD by 2008. The group has done many shows throughout the Twin Cities performing in venues including Escape, O’Garas, The Red Sea, Spirell, Station 4, and The Annex. One of their earliest shows was as the opening act for TI. These ladies are currently working on what they hope to be the finishing touches to their album. This group completed their music video to the single "Make it a Double" which has aired on the Starz InBlack network. Be on the lookout for upcoming shows and music. Influences: MUSICAL INFLUENCESThe largest influence in music and life for Double Shot is definitely the one and only Tupac. Female rap influences include, JJ Fad, MC Lyte, and Salt N Pepa.
