The True Believers

About Me

Musically, The True Believers produce melodic indie-pop that wants to change the world. From dirty country-beat rock... to techno house... to Beautiful South-style upbeat guitar pop... to acoustic ditty... to spanish guitar driven melody.... the music is never samey, but without, I believe, falling into arthouse musician style musical indulgence. It sounds a cliche, but there really is something for everyone, whilst not being so extreme in any one direction as to put anyone off, yet the overall musical catalogue pleasing fans of all types of music, whilst not being bland or middle of the road. Whatever it may be, The True Believers music is not background stuff.

Band Members: The True Believers USED to be just Luke Smitherd, 26, from the Midlands. Making music now for 13 years, and still annoying everybody by refusing to get off the stage regardless of whether acting, performing stand-up or music! However, since then he's been joined by lead guitar impressario Luke Pickup (who, despite protesting innocence, everyone is convinced is just a stage name...) and reliable-as-english-oak-Marcus Pendleton on keyboard. The music has therefore taken on a much greater depth and breadth, with even their most popular numbers being given extra shine and complexity through greater creative vision. But it takes them longer to set up.

Heat, tapping feat, and expensive meat.
