About Me

Music is infinitely excellent. I usually do not like noise, out of tune instruments, or screaming in music, but you never know...sometimes... I do like hand claps, guitar solos, and catchy melodies. I once thought that the Red Hot Chili Peppers were funkier than Parliament and could not have been more wrong. The Beatles used to always top the Rolling Stones, but lately the Stones have a good chance at taking over. Why does Queen rule so much? Seriously. Music is the most powerful form of communication on the planet. One note is easily worth a thousand words, maybe even a thousand pictures. Yeah, it's that heavy.
I own and operate a recording studio, Natural Recording Co. . I hope it will pay my bills someday; currently I have a dayjob at a record store. I play guitar, at home and sometimes in bands. My current musical projects are Thundersnake and The Super Deece Band. Thundersnake tries to sound like AC/DC , but usually ends up closer to Dio or Britny Fox. The Super Deece Band is more jam/classic rock oriented and is really deece.
I've seen enough Phish shows to place me in the category of obsessed.
My top 5 favortie Phish shows I've seen are:
10/24/95 Madison, WI (My first show) 8/3/98 Noblseville, IN (Rhinoceros by Pumpkins + best Antelope ever) 12/6/97 Detroit, MI (Second set featured the funkiest music of 1997) 8/12/98 Irving Plains, NY (Lord of the Rings speech + Burning Down the House) 9/23/00 Rosemont, IL (Japanese lyrics + Meat teases in every song)

Eskimo technology.

So I had my first kayaking experience this past weekend. Apparently the Eskimo people had some great ideas for boat design. I'm not even sure why canoes are still on the market. The kayak is better...

Who likes frustration?

I just finished re-wiring the studio. I had to cram 250 cords (500 connectors) into a 4' by 8' space. I had plans to keep it all neat like behind my TV at home but it quickly became a monster. Now ...
