About Me! GENERAL My name is Jake Bergeron. I live in and grew up in the heart of "the Grove". Selinsgrove that is. Home of the SEALS and attended school here as well. I love music and hanging out with friends...friends hold the most value in my life. I love drawing and designing and they are my passion/hobby/therapy.
SCHOOL/FUTURE I graduated early in 2007 and went to Bloomsburg University and studied art history then changed my major to Anthropology. I chose this major because it offers many opportunities to travel the world and explore other cultures and ways of life. I feel this is important because all people are different and yet we tend to judge every one because of our differences. This major offers me a way to not only learn about these differences but to do my part in ending the tragic wars and horrific events that are fought because of these differences.
WORK I work at Mattress Warehouse where i sell beds and what not..kinda sucks but the moneys good. I also work at a design studio called Aardvark designs. I'm the lead designer and the marketing manager you could say. I make t-shirt, sweatshirts, car decals, signs, etc. I also setup contracts with local businesses and sports teams to have their shirts made through us (thus the marketing manager part.) I love reading and love educating myself on things that i believe have a purpose or are important in life.
INTERESTING THINGS ABOUT ME I love body piercings and modifications. I had a total of 10 or 11 piercings (# depends on how you look at it) at one time..my neck three times (two 3" barbells horizontal across my spine and a vampires kiss on my Jugular Vein), industrial, ear gauge to 1", Labret, Septum, both nipples, tongue, my the bridge of my nose. Currently I have my Septum, industrial, two neck barbells, tongue, and nipples. I also have a Pisces brand on the back of my leg and i hope to have better pictures up soon. Like I just said I'm a Pisces which supposedly means on the good side I'm imaginative and sensitive, compassionate and kind, selfless and unworldly, intuitive and sympathetic...on the bad side escapist and idealistic, secretive and vague, weak-willed and easily led...Most compatible with Taurus, Cancer, Scorpio, & Capricorn. I believe my sign describes me well.The Bands&BooksBANDS: I find myself listening to Coheed & Cambria, Brand New, Circa Survive, As Tall As Lions, Bright Eyes, Thursday, Dispatch, Sublime, Killswitch engage, Underoath, Atreyu, Bleeding through, Dave Brubeck, Jamie Cullum, Modest Mouse, along with many many more that ill add later
BOOKS: I read a lot but heres a few of the big ones...The Holy Bible, The Republic (plato), A Painted House & the Broker (John Grisham), Cujo and pretty much any other Steven king book, Harry Potter (JK Rowling), Lord of the Rings (J. R. R. Tolkien, The Divine Comedy (Dante Alighieri), the Lost World (Micheal Crichton), Reefer Madness (Eric Schlosser), Papillon (Henri Charriere) and many many others...i might add more later who knows!Who I'd Like to Meet
