About Me

Greetings! My name is Loretta and I live in central NJ with my husband and cats. I grew up in Brooklyn, NY and moved to NJ 10-1/2 years ago.
I'm someone that most people don't expect. I look younger than my age (or so I'm told), and it takes a while before people get to know the real me because my interests are so diverse. At one time I considered myself more 'goth' than anything else, but that was mostly due to the music I listened to and the way I dressed when I went out. At heart, I'm a mixture of a lot of styles and ways of thinking. I'll admit, I do like some things that are considered mainstream, however, I'm far from mainstream--especially among people my age. I've often heard, "why can't you be like everyone else?" Now why the hell would I want to be?
I'm a huge fan of NIN, 30STM, U2, the Lord Of The Rings films and books, Star Trek, and Anne Rice. I love photography and I have traveled to many archaeological sites around the world to explore my fascination with them. I used to publish a horror/goth zine called Nox, A Journal of the Night. I took a break for a couple of years and then moved it to the web for another couple of years, but life just became too busy to keep up with it. My Interests

I'd like to meet:

Viggo Mortensen, Stuart Townsend, any of the members of U2, and any of the main actors from any of the Star Trek series. I've briefly met Trent Reznor twice, but I'd like to actually be able to have a conversation with him. Check out my photo albums to see some of the people I've met over the years. I don't have any photos to show for it, but I hung out with Marilyn Manson numerous times in the mid-90s. That's a long story!

Slideshow of mostly recent photos of my husband and I, a couple of the cats, and a couple with celebs. I have lost 55 lbs since Feb. 2007--most of that happened after the photo with Jared in March 2007. It's funny--at the time I thought it was a great photo and that I didn't look so bad. Now I look at it and see how horrible and bloated I looked and I'm much happier with myself now.
