About Me

Myspace Layouts at Pimp-My-Profile.com / Skiing

I just bought my first home in the mountains of Colorado and it's awesome. I have a good life. Now if only I could find that job, you know, the perfect one... I miss my family and friends in Dubuque. I tend bar, coach skiing, and am a Roxy Girl for the Roxy Mountain Project (in other words I'm a glorified ski bum) in order to make ends meet . I love to be outside, in the mountains or in the woods of the midwest - it truly is beautiful for all you nay-sayers. I try to be adventurous. I love all animals and want to live a life full of compassion towards other living things. I enjoy traveling, rainy days, books, wine, poker, pool, thai & indian food, cooking, everything about Fall, hiking, camping, the Mississippi, my family, my friends, laughing, good conversation, and dancing (when no one is watching) . I don't eat meat and strongly disagree with conventional food methods. I try to be good to the earth and want to live a sustainable life that I can be proud of. I'm fortunate to have been brought up in a family that respects the environment. Too many people are too wrapped up in themselves to care about the earth or wildlife or nature, it just doesn't make much sense in the long run....
