About Me

Salmon Sam is the collaboration of two Sam's, who began playing music together shortly after their meeting in 1997. They have since played many shows and written over 30 songs together. The first album "A Step Above Crap" was released in September 2001 to widespread (our friends and families) mockery and revulsion. Undeterred, Sam continued to write and record, which resulted in the second self-titled album release in February 2005. Fans regarded the new album poorly, but had previously pledged loyalty to the band, and therefore have continued to pay homage. The Sam's live in different cities today, but they continue to collaborate. The third album, released in February 2007 contains a track written by the two Sams called "the Game." This song is rumored to be Grammy material (too bad that refers to my grandmother "Grammy") This web page is dedicated to musicians and music for music's sake, and those of us who write and play out even if there are no endorsements or contracts. Good thing this site is FREE!**************** ************************************************************ ** ************************************************************ ** ************************************************************ ** ************************************************************ ** ************************************************************ ** Salmon Sam...Still Not Together was released February 14th, 2007!
