I'm a hopeless romantic with nowhere to go, I'm a slave to this music and nobody knows, it's a labour of love, each echoing note, from within my guitar and out of my throat...
That litle poem up there was improvised just now. That's kinda how it all started: improvising songs in my basement. I was just singing and lyricizing while my best friend played the guitar. After a while I picked up guitar and added a new element to the songwriting that I had been pursuing in the years prior. I'd like to think that I have an eclectic taste in music. I'm not trying to fit into any genre and I'm not trying to make my own, I'm just being me and doing what I do. There are two very good reasons that I got into this music-making thing, and their names are Matt Marcoccia and Fred Chammas; my best friend and my older brother. I'm convinced that without them, none of this would have been possible. I'm not a fame-hunter either, this is a hobby and I love writing songs, but I still would love to play shows. Music's fun to make and play but sharing it with other people besides yourself brings it to a whole new level and I'd like to do that. I'm thinking about recording an EP in the summer of 2007. Nothing too professional, just something to give to my friends and hand out at shows. There's not much else to know about me in terms of my music, but if there's anything else that you'd like to know, just ask.Did I mention I'm now a published writer? =D
