i like reading books (my guilty and shameful love is Science Fiction), surfing internet, hiking, travelling, being debaucherous, sports, and lots more!
people generally, although dolphins, elephants, rhinoceruses, hippopatumases, really any of the giant creatures i think i would enjoy meeting. I also like really awesome meals, i wouldnt mind meeting a steak right about now, with a salad and a potato, mmmmmm tasty. I also enjoy meeting money. Especially when it is the large bills. Oh and on the people tip, dumbasses need not apply, i know enough of those already, and the ones i dont know, i really dont want to know. Only people of quality... yeah
I like a lot of music. Mostly i listen to things i get from friends, as i am not much of a music snob. In fact, i think you could safely say that my taste in music is "bad" compared to most folks' ideas of what music should be. Let's go ahead and say that then, Trey's taste in music is bad, and that means we dont want to even hear what he is listenning to, cause man his taste... errrrgh, gawd i hate that guy! Man who let him in here? is that a bottle of milk? Shoot him, Henry!
I like anything that stimulates thought. I really like Science Fiction, and usually (and somewhat cheesily) will enjoy anything in this vein. Otherwise i really like stuff that has depth of acting (actors) and a good plot. I find that occaissionally a group of good actors can resurect the tired old hollywood plots, but not often enough. One day i am going to star in a movie, and i am going to have lots of women cars and blow, and then i will publish a list in its entirety that i am able to furnish through my extensive free time, where i will do nothing but watch movies and critique them. I will call my final product "Critique of movies, the complete series on 5 DVD's" and i will sell it for around 30$, so look for me to get rich in the biz, and then look for a complete critique (probably going to be published around 1997, look for it definately by 2000)
I watch Public Television and some sports. I was watching this special on these black women who make quilts that are badass (The Women of Gee's Bend) and it was very moving. At the end i saw that the cinematography was done by Dave Veatch, and i was like "hey i know that guy!" and that made me real excited. I used to hang out with that guy in Alabama, and that made TV a lot more real for me.I also like some shows on Sci Fi, cause i am the supreme uber geek. And some shows like Buffy and well... buffy keep me interested. I would add angel, but nah. I enjoy shows with continuity as well. Things like the Sopranos, but i never could get into Curb your enthusiasm... are these copyright violations? Is naming shows bad? Let me ask my lawyer...Apparently this is going to take a while, i will mail you some applications for listings and we will get back to you on whether i am going to be fined. Oh yeah, i guess i should mention that i really like (as in love, probably) CARTOONS, especially anime, in fact all anime... yeah i am pretty hardcore geek
i have never read a book in my life, but if i did learn how to read one day i would read some books that i have heard are good. I really like science fiction, so i would read some of those. Steam-punk is ok, but it gets a little nutty, cyber-punk is the bomb, it is all the things i do in my daily life (like sit around and wish i was high, eat some bad noodles, look at people, and use a stolen computer to hijack a shipment of nutronium from Mars in transit to Jupiter and ram it into my arch nemesis Tobor's vessel "the Rhino"). I like to read about the incompetency of the US government as well, anything from our terrible foreign policy to the atrocities we commit in the name of democracy. I also like history, and even soe romanticised histories. I study some middle and old english too, cause it is nice. The mabinogion for instance was written by an old friend, and i always really like those stories. I do not read self help books, romance novels, or most non-fiction books claiming to solve the "religion" qwestion. I also avoid technical manuals and get rich fast books. I sometimes get caught reading something that has a fancy cover and i get embarassed, so i ussualy take the dust jacket off, or rip off the face... I dont like the idea of people watching me read, it unnerves me. Every once in a great while i read a cookbook, i have one called simply Vegetables, and it is incredible.
I think Superman is way overpowerred as a Hero. I mean no other super-hero had his series of badass powers. If i had to pick one person to be with all the inherent powers it would be him. On a lighter note, all parents are kinda heroes for me, cause when i see kids i think things like "man am i glad that thing isnt mine" or "oh my god get that thing away from me" so i salute them. I also think rich people who give me lots of money are cool. It hasnt really happenned ever, so mostly i hate rich people. Hunter S. Thompson was a hero to me as well, cause i like drugs and travelling and meeting crazy people and then starting over with that sentence. Really hardcore players are heroes to me as well, cause i like to see people get lucky, makes me feel better about the world. And really cool girls are heroes to me as well, cause i like them, and they make life worth living. I also really think that Dolphins and octopi are heroes for me too, cause they are really neat and live underwater and all that. So i guess that brings me to Aquaman, cause he is like Superman of the sea, so he is a hero as well, kind of...
