The Quiet Brothers are singer-songwriter Mosey Walker and producer-musician Biscuit. They've both played in lots of bands [Mosey rocked out with the Cosa Nostras in Philidelphia before going solo in Atlanta; Biscuit hurt some ears in New Orleans with Weedeater, then did a bunch of questionable shit in Santa Fe, NM]. They hooked up a few years ago, bonding over their shared love of robot voices, laziness and weed. As life gets more complicated, so, too do the QB's. Love, religion and the impending apocalypse have worked their way into the world of horny robots and a loser named Kent.
In an attempt to push the limits of what he calls "creative elasticity," Bisq went and moved to the quaint hamlet of Los Angeles. Plans are under way to create a fully functional animatronic Mosey, but it could take a little while. In the meantime, Bisq is having an animatronic baby with his fully functional wife, while Mosey is rocking Martha's Vineyard harder than anyone can remember since James Taylor. He also just released an EP called "Underachiever" and is turning souls to ash with his solo acoustics all over the ATL.
So, Bisq is still writing songs which Mosey will one day soon sing.
UPDATE: Armed with the newly-acquired knowledge that Oregon is somewhat closer to Los Angeles than Atlanta, Mosey went & moved into a crack-house in Portland. As far as we know, Mosey is not smoking crack, he just had some bad luck with Craigslist. Biskit is now left with the task of explaining to Mosey that Portland is not on the outskirts of Los Angeles and that they probably won't be getting together for brunch anytime soon. Until then, live a little and listen to a song. Namaste.
