About Me

~ Producer/Writer - "Steadfast" - award-nominated, top 15 film short in the 168-Hour Film Festival 2006(www.168project.com)
http://www.gunslingerproductions.com/Steadfast_main.html
~ Recipient of the All Original Playwright's Workshop Fellowship Award for first feature-length screenplay, "Running Down the Road" (a romantic comedy inspired by "Fear & Loathing in Las Vegas")
~ Former Member of L.A. Connection Comedy Improv (was known to give birth on stage & once made Bob Hope laugh)
~ Outstanding Drama Graduate, Evangel University
~ Coach to a 2-time award-nominated child actress
~ Produced playwright; published poet; dawdling novelist; and, most of all, accomplished procrastinator with stacks of unmarketed short stories and film treatments scattered here & there (but that's okay...Emily Dickinson was not published until after her death)
~ Artist-of-sorts (I dabble & teach private art lessons)
It's not about me, really...
"The burning of ambition and desire
It never could come close
to that fire, to that fire.
I was looking to myself
And I forgot the power of God.
I was standing with a sparkler in my hand.
While I stood so proud and profound
You came and burned this whole place down.
Now that's a fire."

(by Sara Groves from "The Other Side of Something" 2004)
