Jedi seek to improve themselves through knowledge and training.
Shaak Ti was a kind and courageous Jedi with a history of dedication, loyalty and compassion. She had a very kind and friendly personalty. Hailing from the overpopulated world of Shili, her Force ability was recognized at a young age and she was taken to the Temple on Coruscant to be trained as a Jedi.As a species, the togruta had a herd mentality, normally a very communal species togrutas had a strong sense of unity and togetherness. On their native homeworld, they rely on each other and band together to take a stand against the massive monsters that hunted them. Even their striped patterns were a genetic trait made to make it possible for multiple Togruta to blend together more seamlessly. This made it difficult for a person to know where one ends and another begins. In addition to this, their montrals were hollow and resonate, which allowed them to recognize any movement down to something as small as a bug to up to a ten meter circumference around their body. This made it virtually impossible to sneak up on a togrutian who was alert and paying attention. This ability made Shaak Ti an extremely dangerous Jedi to engage in close combat. Her natural ability to sense others' movements was drastically increased by her Force abilities. It was this ability to sense movement that was attributed to how she kept up with so many of General Grievous' guards in one fight of the Star Wars: Clone Wars animated television series. These abilities enabled Shaak Ti to move remarkably well in bustling crowds. As predators, Togrutas had sharp teeth and when they bit into their furry quarry the creature's postmortem spasms gave the impression that their kind was venomous, which was not true however most Togruta would do nothing to dispel the myth taking full advantage of the intimidating presence it gave them. Being among the highest rank in Togruta society she felt obligated to go through with a few sacred rituals, one of which demanded a single handed hunt of the monstrous type creatures which preyed on them. The creature being somewhat similar in height to the monstrous rancor(which was native to the planet Dathomir), its exact species is unknown. Most tribal members that had attempted the feat died in the process, and there where only a few people in past history who had actually won their prize without losing life or limb. Shaak Ti had been able to earn her prize, obtaining the desired band of razor edged teeth which crowned her head. Shaak Ti tended to be more solitary in nature and spent many hours alone in the peaceful gardens to meditate and contemplate the will of the Force she would often be seen bare footed when she felt at home in a place, and in the rare times of peace she did enjoy the company of her Jedi comrades, as they would often join her by the sparkling waters just pass the Temple's flowered paths.Shaak Ti was apprenticed to Leolum Sachi and trained extensively in the art of Lightsaber combat as well as varying types of marshal arts. Leolum Sachi had formally been under Master Mace Windu before obtaining the rank of a master. She gained much knowledge through Sachi's wise teachings and trainings. Shaak Ti learned and mastered difficult combat styles and Forms and yet she knew her training would never end, she often pondered and practiced her own techniques, mostly basing her stances and maneuvers on combinations of the Contention Form, the Resilience Form and the Perseverance Form in lightsaber combat. No one could really point out her form. Shaak Ti was known to be a extremely skilled hand-to-hand combatant and excelled in multiple weapons practices. She took to the saber as if it where a living thing, respecting the raw energy of the beam. She learned and was known as a master of the electrostaff, even the long and powerful saberstaff, but most often preferred and was seen with a single blade.Shaak Ti's lightsaber skills were almost unparalleled and she had great domain in the Force. Many came to note her graceful combat and often noticed her unique style. With a warrior's skill and her deep Force connection she was swift and decisive in battle. Mace Windu once described Shaak Ti "as beautiful as a flower, yet as deadly as a viper." and felt that she was one of the greatest lightsaber duelists and one of the Order's most powerful members. Though she may have been, Shaak Ti never quite thought about herself in such a way, her bright colors may have stood out but she owned a meek and humble spirit and often lived by the wise philosophy: "Never judge things by there outward appearances, but by what lies within the heart." Being one of the most cunning of the Order she was quickly seated and spent years on the High Jedi Counsel as a valued adviser after Master Yaddle's untimely death. Just as the Republic began to face the new threat of war, Shaak Ti became, like many other Jedi, a General in the Grand Army of the Republic, leading clone troopers on the battlefield. At the start of the war she was among the 200 Jedi that traveled to Geonosis, sent to rescue Obi-Wan Anakin and Padme. She managed to survive along with the remaining Jedi led by Master Mace Windu.Together the surviving Jedi held out what would have been their last stand, until Master Yoda arrived with the clone troopers and rescued them from impending death.Being a High General in the Republic's Army, Shaak Ti was then assigned to the inner sanctums of Tipoca City where the Separatists staged a bold attack on the cloning facilities of Kamino. Coordinating the surface defense of Kamino with Prime Minister Lama Su, she approved the activation of the elite ARC troopers during the assault. Working together with the troopers, Obi-Wan and Anakin(still his padawan at the time), the three Jedi fought the Separatist forces and found victory that day.
Just months into the war a Jedi task force was sent to the planet Hypori upon receiving a report from Jedi Master Daakman Barrek and his Padawan Sha'a Gi which indicated the presence of a large droid factory there. Backed by an army of Clone Troopers the Jedi task force was meant to assist Master Barrek and his padawan along with Masters Ki-Adi-Mundi, Aayla Secura, K'Kruhk and Tarr Seirr. The battle was doomed from the beginning. As the Republic ships emerged from hyperspace, orbital mines caused the majority of the transports to crash behind the Separatist's lines. The Republic forces where quickly surrounded by the massive droid army stationed on the planet, and all clone troopers present were quickly slaughtered. Only the Jedi remained. Master Barrek called for help but it was to late. The Jedi would have to face General Grievous for the first time in the war, and it was a fierce battle.
The cyborg outmatched the surviving Jedi's valiant efforts and was able to kill Master Barrek, his padawan Sha'a Gi, and Tarr Seirr. K'Kruhk, thought dead, was left behind but he actually had survived. Shaak Ti held up against Grievous for a respectable stint, but was ultimately overpowered by the killer. Though critically wounded, she managed to survive the deadly attack of the General, barely escaping that encounter alive.
In her career as a Jedi Master she trained two padawans, but sadly saw both of them fall victim to criminal killers shortly after their passing of the Jedi trials. However her Jedi demanor of deachment allowed her to hide these emotions. Her former padawan, Fe Sun, had fell due to the murderous actions of the Zeltron woman, Lyshaa.
Now five months into the war Shaak Ti led a detachment of clone troopers to Brentaal IV and came face to face with her padawan's killer, Lyshaa, who had escaped incarceration in the confusion of the Clone Wars. While on Brentaal she came upon a prison, which held her padawan's murderer along with a confused Wookiee and the former Jedi, Quinlan Vos.

Sensing his presence nearby she broke his chains, setting him free, and they worked together to accomplish the mission, setting off in different directions after he led them through the treacherous underground sewers. Finding Lyshaa could be of good use Shaak Ti offered the Zeltron freedom if she would use her natural persuasion abilities to convince the Confederacy commander Shogar Tok to stand down peacefully, Lyshaa agreed, but foolishly thought the Jedi Master would turn on her the moment she had the chance.
She betrayed and shot Shaak Ti, badly wounding her. However her Jedi healing powers kept the wounds from being fatal.
She was then forced to kill the Separatist commander, Shogar Tok. Demonstrating the strength of a Jedi's resolve, Shaak Ti chose to spare Lyshaa for the betrayal. Lyshaa, disbelieving of Shaak Ti's integrity, attempted to flee, only to be killed by an automated laser trap. Later on in the Clone Wars, Shaak Ti participated in countless other battles. After a successful mission on Ando, she was given recognition by Supreme Chancellor Palpatine and Masters Mace Windu and Plo Koon. She also became one of the eighty-two Jedi with bounties put on their heads by Asajj Ventress. Nine months after the start of the war, she defeated the Dark Acolyte Artel Darc on the prison world of Dagu. In the final days of the war, the Jedi were receiving more and more information regarding the supposed "second Sith", Darth Sidious. They traced information to the abandoned industrial sector of Coruscant known as The Works. Along with Master Windu and a group of highly trained clones they arrived at the reported lair of the Sith lord. Though they found no trace of his presence, they discovered a network of tunnels leading straight to 500 Republica, confirming Dooku's claims of ties between the Sith and the Galactic Senate. However, before being able to investigate further, the unthinkable happened. Out of nowhere, Separatist forces led by both Count Dooku and General Grievous attacked Coruscant.
With the impending attack, Ti helped evacuate the Senate Rotunda before heading with Jedi Masters Foul Moudama, Roron Corobb, Roth-Del Masona, and B'ink Utrila to ensure Supreme Chancellor Palpatine's safety. Upon their arrival in his office, however, Grievous broke in. Barely managing to save the Chancellor, she and the surviving Jedi led Grievous and his MagnaGuards on a chase through Galactic City.

They soon arrived at the underground pod that would lead to Palpatine's hidden bunker, however Shaak Ti remained behind to fight off more MagnaGuards.
During the battle she showed an amazing skill with the MagnaGuard's electrostaff as well as her with her lightsaber.

When the MagnaGuards ceased their attack and retreated into the darkness of the pod tunnel, she realized that Grievous had already made his way to the bunker. When she arrived, Shaak Ti found her remaining Jedi comrades had been slain in combat. Weary from the battle she has just fought and having raced on foot to the bunker, she was quickly subdued by Grievous, but for an unknown reason he did not take her life, instead he took her lightsaber as a trophy and bound her with a force-field rope then quickly escaped with Palpatine as his "prisoner". Mace Windu, fortunately found her in time to save her from that near death. Over the years many grew to trust her abilities as a Jedi healer as well as an adviser.
She was present at the Jedi Temple at the time Order 66, the Jedi Purge, began. Leading the Jedi Temple in defense that dark night she encountered Anakin Skywalker at the front entrants to the Temple just minutes before the Purge. She easliy saw the sickness in his eyes as well as his cold determination. Thinking he should be at the infirmary rather then going out to assist the Jedi team with arresting the Chancellor(as she thought that was why he had wanted to leave) she offered him her healing powers and tried to stop him from leaving, but there was something terribly wrong. . .Anakin Skywalker would not heed her advise and she thought no reason to hold him against his will therefore she let him pass. Had Skywalker listened to her and stayed that night, he may have never have became Darth Vader. But sadly, it was not to be so, and late that ominous, battle clouded night he came back as the Sith Lord, Darth Vader. Descending upon the Temple sanctuary with a phalanx of clone troopers, Vader hunted many Jedi down to their deaths. The temple was gutted with laser fire as agents of the newly proclaimed Emperor slaughtered the peace keepers, young and old, showing no mercy whatsoever and doing so in the name of "justice". However, Shaak Ti was able to escape the Temple. There was no time to mourn her comrades as Vader, not finding her dead, sent out a dark apprentice to hunt her down. Though at deep loss by the sudden passing of so many of her friends Shaak Ti continued to walk gracefully in the Jedi's path. She was a Jedi, a legend, and will always serve the Light Side of the Force by protecting those who cannot protect themselves, and allowing the light of the Force to guide each of her actions. Years in the after math of the grand wars Shaak Ti joined the Light Side faction of the Imperial Counsel of Jedi and met up with many Jedi she thought to be dead long ago. However with this Imperial Counsel there was also a "Dark Side" faction present. The two sides simply could not co-exists for long and soon separated and became enemies. The former "Light Side" was led by Master Plo Koon and Garyn Fett and was soon retitled to be called the Silver Jedi. The Dark Side faction still held to the ICJ title and after many a war the two separate factions grew back together. In one of the last battles Jedi Master and leader of the Silver Jedi, Plo Koon, was slain and so Fett naturally took lead. After coming to a peaceful accord the ICJ and Sliver Jedi became as one again, allowing Light siders, Dark siders as well as Grey siders to coexist peacefully, all adopting the title ICJ once again. Shaak Ti was chosen as a High Master and was seated on the Counsel of the Light Side along with a few others. Also Master Ti is joined and an active member of the small resistance group known as the Knights of the Rebellion, headed by Master Obi-Wan Kenobi, who's mortal enemies are the Sith grouped under the tyrannical LOS Empire. Currently working with both the ICJ and KOR groups she lives a dedicated life of continued service as well as working as a healer and friend to many.
