I am here for Friends and Networking

About Me

I'm a 30-year old published poet, screenwriter, and independent filmmaker. In regards to poetry, I am avant garde and uninhibited. My films range from the philosophical and strange ("CUNNIGULA", 2004, and "THE COCONUT", 2005) to the meaningful and tragically beautiful ("THE HOTEL EDWARDS, 2005, and "PERFEKT", 2007) to the stupidly humorous ("THE FOOL: EPISODE #s 60 and 75"). Check out my company's website at www.nothingmanfilms.com . I am an adjunct professor at various colleges and universities across New Jersey teaching creative writing and humanities courses, but have aspirations to get a steady teaching gig (with benefits!) in New York or the west coast, and, as long as my poetry keeps getting published as frequently as it has been lately, and/or some big name producer checks out one of the film my company has made, those dreams should become realities. I am also a guitarist (acoustic mostly, but some electric), a conneseiur of fine and not-so-fine wines (mostly shirazes), an up-and-coming absintheur, (Vive La Fee!), and I wholeheartedly believe that everyone is a poet in his or her own right, though nowadays I'm becoming more and more appalled at what people are calling poetry, both in the world of publishing and the underground and dying art of the open mic. I'm all about free speech and free love (whatever that means nowadays) and just having a good time before it all goes black and even our memories won't matter anymore.Check out my MYSPACE FILM PAGE to see the trailer for my latest short "Perfekt" now being submitted to film festivals, my director's reel, and lots of other interesting things about Trigonis

My Interests

I'd like to meet:

I'd like to meet interesting people all over the country, but specifically in the New York/New Jersey areas. I like to talk about art, movies, poetry, and the things in this world that matter, things like why we're here and not petty materialist trivialities, he said/she said nonsense, and stuff like that. I'm really seeking friends whom I can relate to, and who can relate to me and my own circle of quirky friends and fellow writers, artists and poets.
