New Druids

Get this video and more at MySpace.comNew Druids was founded in the summer of 1999 by Kerry Sanson and Colum Regan, both singer songwriters living and performing in South Wales with a shared love of song and percussion. They recorded their first album in 99, and were very soon performing at venues and festivals all over the UK Ireland and America. As the duo developed, they collaborated with many varied artists folk musicians, dance music producers, storytellers, jazz and funk players, flamenco guitarists, drum n bass groups, gypsy choirs, pop producers, theatre productions and many more. Their second album under the name Sanfaro was recorded in 2002, but they returned to their former name soon after. Their latest album was recorded live in the USA in the summer of 2004. In 2005 they wrote and recorded "Ready to Fly" with Kestrel Books. This is an English language CD and text/song book for English Language learners. Whilst continuing to play as New Druids, Colum and Kerry have been working on solo projects, and both have albums to be released sometime this year.They continue to write and perform and spread melody and rhythm where ever they go. This diversity and spirit of musical exploration is at the heart of the ethos of New Druids.
