Singer/Songwriter Jon Katity has been performing under the band name Behind the Beautiful since the winter of '06. Since that time, he has gained a wide local following by playing extensively throughout the South Jersey area and releasing several demos, EP's, and even a full length. The power and strength of Behind the Beautiful is in the songs, which connect with people on a very intimate and personal level.
Behind the Beautiful's first proper full length album will be entitled "the Cadence of Life and the Girl" and is expected to be released some time in 2009. The album will feature full band arrangements for most of its 12 tracks, yet will retain the honesty and intimacy of the original acoustic renditions.
