Biography

Hektek up and coming DJ, Music Producer, Arranger, Composer from The Bronx, New York brings you his unique signature sound to world. Starting out as a local Disc Jockey in 1992 listening to music from Hip Hop's golden era inspired Hektek to become interested in the music production field, sampling music making beats in the mid 1990's.Spending alot of time going to numerous music recording studio sessions watching, learning from other producers, musicians, and engineers is what Hektek credits in improving his craft which he would later apply when recording demo tapes with his group and other local artist.
2000 Hektek began to work with more international rap artist creating music, in 2004 he had the honer and opportunity to work in the studio with (Hip Hop, Electro) Music Pioneer Afrika Bambaataa, producing songs titled "Sally" and "Electro Salsa" featured on "Dark Matter Moving At The Speed Of Light" (Tommy Boy Records). A short time after Hektek went on to work producing tracks for Bronxmob "The Bronxmob Album" (Blunt Squad Recordings), King Kamonzi "Timeless" (Blackyard/BPM Records) out of the midwest Milwaukee, and other local artist.
Over the past 8 years Hektek has been perfecting his craft, building a library with music of all styles. He looks foward to providing quality for established music artist (underground and mainstream), as well as multimedia companies.
