Brent Jamieson

Born in Alaska, Brent spent most of his youth in the untamed wilderness on an island of 350 people. There were no paved roads, groceries came once a month on a barge and he attended his community's one-building schoolhouse of 72 kids, K-12. It was on this island that Brent first began writing songs in an effort to express the feelings of loneliness and longing he encountered under dark winter clouds, all the while dreaming of a seemingly impossible record deal. Writing poignant songs that express real emotion and with an unforgettable voice infused by passion, his music speaks to the mysterious journey of romance, pain and self-discovery.
