So yeah, my name is Shanna... a bunch of folks call me Shay, my mama calls me Nani :) I just turned 33, jeeeez where does the time go?? "It's never too late in life or in writing to start a new chapter" I forget where i saw that quote but can i just say it's 100 bazillion % true??? I'm happier now than i have ever been in my life!! I have two boys n a baby girl who are the lights of my life. They are truly the best gift God ever gave me :)

I've got this pretty face, but what's funny is that i'm pretty much a total nerd. I'm into nerdy things, like reading. ALOT. Pretty much anything i can get my hands on, from novels that are a thousand pages plus to the back of the cereal box. And i have a semi-photographic memory, which i'm guessin would be fully photographic if i didn't have so much tumblin around up in there :) One of these days i'm goin to enter a scrabble tournament.

I procrastinate too much, sometimes my heart is too soft, sometimes my head is too hard, and when i let go, i LET GO. That was a lesson it took entirely too long to learn. Sometimes i miss those that are gone from my life more than they will ever know; sometimes strength isnt measured in how hard u hold on, but in knowing that it's time to let go.

I would encourage anyone with a huge heart and deep concern for others to enter the nursing profession... we need caring, empathic individuals who believe in making a difference in others lives.
