I am here for Friends

About Me

People tell me I'm a pretty funny guy, and it's true I do enjoy the instant gratification of seeing someone laugh at my jokes, and I consider it a personal triumph when someone laughs so hard it hurts. I kind of observe things that I think some people may not even notice and for some reason I find those things the most amusing. Stupid things make me laugh as well as the more subtle. I'm kind of obsessed with language and the words people choose, I think it says a lot about the person and I like to remember those words for potential jokes in future conversations. I love conversations but in them, I find I do more listening than talking. Someday I'll have something to say...and people will listen.
People who are funny, unintentional or not, are who I get along the best as I tend to joke around a lot and it's easier when people get the joke.
One important thing to know about me is that I love movies. Movies? Real life? For me, the two co-mingle with an almost bizarre interconnection.

My Interests

I'd like to meet:

Tina Fey, Zooey Deschanel, Conan O' Brien, Ricky Gervais, Larry David, Kim Morgan, Anna Karina and Stanley Kubrick, but he's Dead.I AM JAY'S COMMENT BOX.

"The Descent" into Madness

I know, I know...I said I wouldn't write about movies this time around but I couldn't help myself and since I'm a little late to see this movie, I wanted to get a short review out there before it's ...

10 Minutes before our Feature Presentation

This whole summer I've been trying to get to the movie showtimes early, as I love previews and am always eager to see what's coming out in the next few months. This fall looks particularly good as so...

Sam on a Motherf*ckin' Plane

Just when my interest in Snakes on a Plane had begun to wane (bound to happen when the buzz for a movie starts six months before the movie is released), Sam Jackson swoo...

Favorite Movie Endings (Revised)

The ending of a movie is very important as that it is the last impression the audience leaves with and is usually the most remembered. Below are some of the best endings of movies and do I need to tel...

A Grant Night Out

I know people probably think I write too much about my friend Grant, but really he is comic gold. And I happen to be witness (and active participant) to a night of debauchery, along with my digi...

Respect The Choc.

I was changing a song on my iPod the other day when I noticed a thick brown substance layering the bottom of it, near the jack. I take a whiff and find that it's chocolate. This is funny because I n...
