JP Productions was created by myself Jerrod Pope, in Austin,Texas 1986. In the young age of 12 i used to make music with my mouth, like Doug-E Fresh,& the Biz. All the time I used to walk around the hood and school and make beats with my mouth or a coin and a table while somebody is rapping. In 1986 I got my first set up for Christmas 2 turntables & a mixer.I had been asking for this set-up for about 3 or 4 years I finally got it. I mixed and scratched for friends and family members for a while until my parents came home with a Yamaha keyboard that had a beat machine and you could loop on it. I was in heaven,I used that keyboard for a long time all the way up until. I graduated high school and went to college.I attended Texas Southern University for about 2-3 yrs. My boy that I grew up with had a ASR10 in like 1993.Started messing around with that and I thought hey man i need my own shit. I got one and the rest is history. I LOVE MUSIC & I AM IN LOVE WITH HIP-HOP NON-STOP, LISTEN AND ENJOY MY MUSIC......... HIP HOP 1973
