HotFreeLayoutsC H 1 C OPedro Cruz known in the music world as CHICO was born in Boston, MA in 1988. After living a year in the U.S. his parents decided to move to Puerto Rico. There he spent just over 3 years of his life before returning back to the states. At the age of 11 CHICO first began his journey in the industry listening to Reggaeton and Spanish Hip Hop. Following the music of the early great artist like Michael y Manuel, Wiso G, Bebe, and many more CHICO really knew his heart was going to be with music at the age of 9. After Listening to T.E.M.P.O. for the first time he found a new passion for lyrics. At the age of 13 along side with his best friend he began to take steps towards their goal. After his best friend moved away to Orlando, FL CHICO decided to pursue his dream on his own. From the alley ways of Puerto Rico to the streets of Massachusetts this young inspired artist has been slowly conquering the game of Spanish Hip Hop and Reggaeton. He has been patiently waiting for his chance to prove his lyrical talent. CHICO is one of the few rappers that combined his Spanish flow with Hip Hop beats. In 2003 his career began when he joined 3’PLE 2’BLE®. The group was made up of CHICO, CHINO, and FREAKY. Months later the group separated and CHICO remained with CHINO starting up their own record label by the name of 2’BLE-MELA MUZIIK®. Their CHICO gained experience both in the studio and on stage. He gained the respect of other artist and audience by battling in the streets. Now at an age of 18 CHICO is a proud member of LETRAZ FINE ENTERPRIZE®! In 2006-2007 CHICO is going to make an impact on the underground world of rap in Boston. He has featured in DVDs, Mix tapes, Albums, and magazine articles. He has his new solo Mix tape debut for the fall of 2006. The Mix tape, El Primer Round© is being produced by LETRAZ FINE ENTERPRIZE®. It is truly going to prove his skill as a lyricist.
