About Me

AOL IM - freebird21851
Personal Update as of May 2009:
I am a VEGAN. This means that I do not ingest anything that ever came from an animal, whether it be the meat itself or any byproducts that are used in the production of other foods that common humans eat on a daily basis. Not only do I not eat meat of animals, but I do not eat any dairy products as well in reinforcing my strictly VEGAN state of mind. In November 2004, I watched a Jane Goodall-produced film, entitled "Peaceable Kingdom", which was funded by Compassion Over Killing (a national animal activism group located in Washington DC) and that's all it took for me to change my meat-eating ways on the spot, cold-turkey. Therefore, if anyone were to ask me the ultimate reasons why I went Vegan: first, it's out of respect for animals as a species that don't deserve to be placed secondary to human beings in their mental capacities, let alone for consumption purposes. Secondly, combine that fact with my absolute disgust for modern methods of production in the meat and dairy industries of today, more specifically the actual confinement methods used to house the animals as they are held captive until their brutal, human-imposed deaths.
I am a Military Resistor. Yes, this means that I quit my job in the United States Marine Corps in May 2005, after four years of lies, puppeteering and being forced to support foreign exports that I don't agree with in the slightest. If you would like to read my story in why I eventually felt obligated to quit, despite the consequences, please check out two of my older myspace blogs I wrote last year, entitled "My Military Story" and "My Military Story: Continued".
Music is my religion, plain and simple, or at least the only thing that I hold highly enough in my mind that would resemble how others practice wordly religions in their own lives. There is no other way that I could find purpose in this existence without the stories of others to relate to from a musical, creative sense. Without music, I would not be able to find a way to get through the hard times in this often disheartening, unforgiving life. As a result, I attend approximately 65-80 concerts a year, ranging from mostly hardcore and death metal shows, but not limited to those genres in the slightest, as I love to attend hip hop shows with such politically-motivated, revolutionary underground artists as Immortal Technique, Diabolic and Jedi Mind Tricks.
Speaking of working out, I go to the gym 5-6 days a week at Big Vanilla in Pasadena. I get the most out of my routines on days that I don't work at my job, so I can dedicate the majority of my mental & physical strength capacities toward getting the best workout possible. On my days off from work, I'm often at the gym twice each day breaking up my cardio & racketball in the early mornings, then coming back later in the evening for lifting. However, even if I have to work, you will still find me at the gym from 630am-9am before working my usual doubles afterwards. The human body can never be refined enough or sculpted to perfection, so it will always be a work in progress for me until the day that I exit this life.
My body is a canvas. In other words, I am a tattoo-enthusiast and continue in my quest in covering the majority of my body in the themes that interest me the most. I already have large pieces covering Chinese mythology and Egyptian mythology, not to mention my recognition of the impending nuclear holocaust doomed to destroy humanity and all the hypocritical religions on this Earth, as evidenced in my right leg half-sleeve. Check out all of my tattoos in my pictures folder dedicated to them, and let me know what you think. For all of your tattoo and piercing needs, check out Crucial Tattoo Studio in Salisbury, MD, owned by my personal tattooist that has done all of my larger pieces to date, Jon "Dredd" Kellogg. The shop's myspace can be found at www.myspace.com/crucialtattoo

My Interests

I'd like to meet:

I would not like to meet a lot of people. In fact, most of humanity and the world itself is an abortion, as one of my band favorites The Acacia Strain so aptly put it. I wish I could instantly erase most of the human race & just leave the animals to roam the Earth again. However, for those of you out there that think you're legit & have some shred of decency left in your bodies, I might like to meet you. I only need people in my life that take the definition of the term "friend" seriously. I have had enough half-assed friends in my life, so I definitely am not looking for any more in my future. More times than not, people are only "friends" with you to supplement their own personal agendas. If you're able to be honest with yourself & honestly recognize that you're one of those people, then fuck off because I certainly would not like to meet you. End of story.
