About Me

Hey What's up! My name's Dwayne. I'm 23 years old, goal oriented and am an aspiring black man who is striving to achieve a better tomorrow. I graduated from Polytechnic University, a technical and engineering school, which is in Brooklyn, and I also have quite a few other accomplishments that i am very proud of. I have a Bachelor's of Science degree in Computer Engineering. I'm still deciding if I should go for my Master's degree in it too. I lead a good laid back lifestyle and am a very cool person. Although nowadays the work life has been working me to fatigue, I'm handling it well. I can't stop my strides yet, that is, if I want to live comfortably by a certain time in my life. You can ask me anything that you need to know. Feel free to ask me whatever comes to mind. You can hit me up on AIM or Yahoo! Dmoneyblingn for AIM and Deewayne2 for Yahoo.

My Interests

I'm interested in everything! Talking, joking, playing, drawing, thinking, learning, listening, singing, fixing, entertaining, enjoying, walking, riding, bumping, grinding...it goes on and on.

I'd like to meet:

I would like to meet anyone who can expand my way of thinking on any possible level. Sounds deep right? I believe that you can always learn something new from each person. that's a given because everybody lives a unique life so that in turn means that they have a unique view on life and what it entales. I know it may sound corny but it's real. Take that' like Diddy (corny side joke)

Music:

Rap, R&B, Reggae, Hip Hop,...I'm really open minded about music. At the moment my current at home playlist includes all sorts of rappers and singers. I change the music on the page every so often, so check back to see what I'm feeling at the moment.

Movies:

The more recent movies that have grabbed my attention are Rush Hour 3, Live Free or Die Hard (mad action), Transformers and pretty much anything with action and a decent plot.

Television:

I like any television show with action, comedy, or makes you think. Such shows that come to mind are House, Law & Order, Lost, Heroes and others. Don't get me wrong I'm not that much of a TV person unless basketball is on. Otherwise I'm either catching up on my computer knowledge or I'm outside doing whatever.

Books:

I don't read as often as I should but I plan on catching up once the time allows for it. As of late, I've been reading to advance my studies. The technical computer world of today don't play when it comes to your career. I like learning new things all the time. That way I don't feel like I'm always behind the times. I'd hate for my kids to feel like I don't get the lingo or anything like that.

Heroes:

Off the top of my head I'd say that Dwyane Wade is a hero to me. He represents for all the "Dwayne's" of the world. I'm not gonna lie I actually was rooting against him his first 2.5 years in the NBA. But in the end I respect him and all he's done in and for Miami. Another hero I'd consider is Stephen A. Smith. He really knows what he is talking about. Michael Eric Dyson, a very educated speaker. I mean the list goes on and on...In general, anyone can be considered my hero, as long as they are someone who became relatively successful, enjoys their life, or anyone who didnt compromise their integrity to look good in the eyes of others. Intelligence and knowing exactly what they're talking about seem to be dominating factors.
