About Me

Things I hate: Liars. Fennel. Shirts that have hoods, but no sleeves. The word moist. Mornings. Guys with girlfriends. Exes. People who don't get movie quotes. soggy bread. and cereal. and the word soggy. friends that live in your parents basement, but ditch you when you need them. the sound of paper being cut with a knife. being fickle. Things i heart: Well, i love poetry. and a nice glass of scotch. and of course, my dear friend baxter here... actually what i really love is quoting movies. macaroni and cheese. drinking. sleeping. food expos. reading. sliding accrossed floors on my knees like a rockstar. roller skates. flip flops in the winter. soup, both making and eating. rain. blankets. my family.A friend told me a story last night. A professor placed a large glass jar upon his desk and proceeded to fill it with golf balls. he then asked his class if it was full. They all said yes, the jar is definitely full. the professor then took out a bag of small rocks and poured them into the glass jar. the rocks filled in all of the spaces between the golf balls. The class laughed and said, ok, now the jar is full. So the professor pulled out a bag of sand and proceeded to pour that over the golf balls and small rocks, where it filled in all of the empty spaces. He told the class that the jar was now full, and each item represented things in life. The golf balls represented the important things- your family, your close friends, etc. The rocks were smaller things- your job, where you live, less important things that do mean something but can be replaced. The sand was the minute trivial material things in life like shoes or cars or cell phones. He said if you put either the sand or the rocks in the jar first, there would be no room for the truely important things. Its all a matter of priority. I loved this story because thats the way i live my life. And i just wanted to show love and say thanks to all my golf balls :)

My Interests

I love more than i should. Laugh enough for six people. Hurt as much as my sanity will allow. Ask for too much but demand not enough. Eat whatever I want. Drink more than is neccessary. Sleep as much as possible. Experience as much as i can. Think way too much. Cry less than I should.

I'd like to meet:

Someone who isn't a fool. And that can handle me... ah hahaha, who am i kidding??

Music:

I don't have an ipod. i don't have an mp3 player. i have a book of old ass cds that i love, and i don't want to buy new ones. i like alkaline trio, misfits, the queers, saves the day, the vandals, dogs die in hot cars, postal service, tiger army, oingo boingo, starmarket, planes mistaken for stars... and i still hate jets to brazil.

Movies:

Fav will always be Breakfast Club. Anchorman almost made me pee my pants. I like to run the gamut from grisly, like Boondock Saints, to girly, like the Notebook. I'm well rounded, but i love comedies.

Television:

i have one, it takes up space in my living room, but i don't watch it- if i did, however, Food Network is where its at! And sometimes cartoon network. and thats it. period.

Books:

Books are like drugs to me. i can totally reason spending all of my money on them. I love Stephen King, John Irving, Wally lamb, James Frey, Jodi Picolt, Jennifer Weiner, Charles Bukowski, Anthony Bourdain, and a ton of others. and i love people who buy me books, too.

Heroes:

My parents, no doubt. and Lupin the Third.
