In March 2003, the four musicians formed what is now known as Bent Hefner. In their very short time as a musical unit, Bent Hefner have managed to spread their self-proclaimed Dark Anthem Rock across the London, Hamilton and Toronto areas. By rocking local hot spots like the legendary Horseshoe Tavern, the El Mocambo, Hard Rock Café (Club 279), Reverb, Opera House and the Rivoli they’ve made a lasting impression and picked up a loyal fanbase along the way. But this, of course, is just the beginning of Bent Hefner’s reign of musical domination. The band’s inspiring sound and incredibly intense stage presence can be compared to no other. Combining Bam Bam’s heart-stopping, pounding drums, Marked Mayhem’s bone-crunching, ear splitting pick squeals, Cheeze Bogart’s precise but thundering bass lines and Daen Nova’s power-melodic vocal authority is enough to stop you in your tracks and unconsciously put you in your place. Together, the foresome exude an inconceivably forceful energy that can only be understood when it is experienced. Bent Hefner penetrates into the emotional and psychological realm with aggressive conviction that threatens to never let go.
