Tamee Harrison

Tamee Harrison was born in 1979 in Perth, Western Australia, where she spent her early childhood. Aged 6 she moved with her parents (Austrian mother, English father and her 2 year-older brother) to Vienna in Austria, where she continued her schooling and also started to model and act in commercials and small TV roles. Coming from an artist family Tamee already at a very young age showed that she possessed a great creative talent in many fields as well as developing a beautiful voice. Tamee’s love for singing and acting has always been the principal focus in her life and even though the music industry soon showed great interest, Tamee decided to first finish her schooling.
In 1991 the family set up their main base in England where Tamee finished her secondary education, as well as singing and dance training. Then Tamee was offered numerous contracts and chose to sign first with SONY-MUSIC AUSTRIA (2000) and then more recently with WARNER-MUSIC AUSTRIA (2003).
Tamee had great success with her hit singles “A LITTLE BIT” (most airplay of a national song in 2001), “YOU’RE THE VOICE” (2002), her debut-album, “From Me to You” whilst signed to SONY MUSIC, but choose to continue her Career with WARNER MUSIC in 2003 and in her favorite Music Style of Country-Pop.
Tamee’s belief in and dedication to Country-Pop Music, which is a very rare Music Style in Austria, got her Fans and her audience hooked! “EVERYTIME WE TOUCH” (2003), peaked at NUMBER 4, and stayed for 12 weeks in the charts!, three more TOP 10 singles followed in 2004 and 2005, “It’s a fine day”, “Going to Paris” and “Beautiful Time”, and her TOP 20 hits “Heartbreaker” and “I’m Ready” in 2006.
Tamee’ s credits also include AUSTRIAN AMADEUS MUSIC AWARD nominations in 2002, 2004 and 2006 in the Category BEST FEMALE ARTIST.
In 2003 she received the AUSTRIAN AWARD “MOST POPULAR NATIONAL POPSTAR”
In 2004 Tamee was chosen to be a host on MTV-AUSTRIA.
In 2002 Tamee flew out to Kosovo and in 2004 to Syria to perform and lift the spirits of thousands of UN Troops who are fighting against terrorism. Tamee received the UN Honorary Medal.
In December 2004 Tamee wrote and sang the official COCA-COLA-CHRISTMAS-SONG “A Beautiful Time”, which immediately stormed to No. 2 in the charts, becoming the most successful National Christmas-song ever written by an Austrian! Tamee toured throughout Austria as the Star-Highlight of the COCA-COLA-CHRISTMAS-TRUCK-TOUR
In January 2005 Tamee performed at the VIENNA OPERA BALL at The Waldorf Astoria Hotel, in New York
In May 2005 Tamee won great acclaim with her own Tour throughout Austria, - the sensational “HYPNOTIZED-TOUR”.
The tremendous success of the COCA-COLA-TRUCK-TOUR was not only repeated in December 2005, but also extended to cover Switzerland and Slovenia.
During the Coca-Cola Truck Tour, Tamee also performed, by invitation of RADIO ENERGY SWITZERLAND, at the “Zürich Hallenstadion” in front of 13.000 spectators at the STARS4FREE SHOW.

Tamee has performed live on stage as well as on TV all over the World in many prestigious events in Austria, Germany, England, Italy, Switzerland, Slovakia, Poland, Slovenia, Monaco and the United States.
Tamee has also become a very popular TV Host. For the 50th and 51st VIENNESE OPERA BALL at the OPERA HOUSE in Vienna in 2006 and 2007, Tamee was chosen to be a host for Austria’s leading TV station (the ORF) at this global event.
At the 2006 ECOFIN Gala (Meeting of the EU Ministers of Finance) at the Vienna Hofburg (Palmhouse) Tamee hosts the evening in English as well as performing her Songs in an unplugged session.
Tamee’s professional and charming TV Hosting Skills won her great acclaim on many Shows such as “The Austrian Amadeus Music Award Show”, “Dancing with the Stars”, “MTV – SixPack”, “The Vienna Opera Ball”, “Miami Winter Music Conference” and more.
Beginning of 2007, Tamee accepted the offer to play the Leading Role of Empress Sissi of Austria in the upcoming Musical “ Sissi Gong Zho” which will be premiering in Shanghai in 2008 and will be touring throughout China.
Even though her Rehearsal Schedule is extremely busy, Tamee is continuing her Dedication to the Love of Country-Pop Music and Song-Writing and will be releasing her new Album in the spring of 2008.
