Mankind is being destroyed. Not by war. Not by Global Warming. Not by poverty. Not by any of the commonly accused "culprits". No. Mankind is being destroyed by itself. All these so-called destroyers of men are really just by-products of Man's laziness and pursuit of convenience. War isn't so bad...until you bring in the factor of modern military technology. At the touch of a single button, we could all be turned into a planet sized pile of radioactive ash. Global Warming? Where the fuck do you think that comes from? The Arabs? Those pesky Communists? How about your huge fucking suvs that get 2 miles per gallon and pump out more pollution than an army of fat men at a Mexican buffet? And true, poverty has always existed, and probably always will, but not on the horrific scale that is has since all this "convenient" technology came around, causing the need for "oil wars" and such. Most of those Third World countries seemed to be doing fine until that happened. I mean, look at World War One. The entire fucking point of that war was basically to show off all the new technology. Thank God for the Industrial Revolution. Basically, I know that in this modern world, it's practically impossible to live without at least some technology, but at least try this sometime: Put on some fur and drink and dance around with good friends. Listen to some good folk music. And if possible, do it around a fire. It's surprisingly refreshing.
