My name is Sam Winchester.
I was a student at Stanford University until my brother, Dean, dragged me into going on a search for our missing father one night. I told myself it'd only be for a weekend, I had a job interview the following Monday, but our quest ended up being not only a wild goose chase, but a vengeance plan as well.
Life is a lot more complicated now. There are things I see, things I do that few people understand, let alone believe. It'd make even the most firm believer a skeptic.
But that's part of our job. My brother and I that is. We're hunters. Hunters of things that go bump in the night, things that lurk in your closet and under your bed.
And even though I'm not proud of the family business, let alone talk about my special gift, I do what I have to do. Quite possibly even more considering that every woman in my life has ended up dead if not for it being because of me.
I'm sorry, but chances are if you comment to me with an rpg prompt, I won't reply back to it. (I only write in first person format.) I do however, try to post in my blog as often as possible since I am trying to keep track of life. Private journals are nice to have, but don't share the same quality of interaction as these live ones do, and even though I swore to myself I'd never tell anyone the reality of what I do, I'm starting to feel comfort in knowing there are others out there with similar experiences and a will to believe.
But that doesn't mean I won't friend just specific people, because I will friend just about anyone, fake or real.
