First, you should know that the date of birth on my profile is not accurate. Mary Kay used to say, "Never trust a woman who will tell you her age. A woman who will tell you her age will tell you anything." Thus, I have chosen to mask my true age and leave it a mystery. I am the wife of my childhood sweetheart and we have parented four amazing children. I met my honey in church when I was only nine years old and we later were married in that same church. Being involved in church has been a big part of my life. It is where I first learned to love music and, most importantly, where I was first formally introduced to my Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. He is my best friend and the reason I live. He truly sets my life to music. I have been involved in various worship teams over the years and have loved the experience of collaborating with other believers as we strive to offer Him the praise that He is so worthy of receiving. Who I am is defined by my place in His kingdom first. What I am about is being a wife and a mom. I do have a profession, as well. I have been involved in real estate for about three decades. I became a licensed realtor in 1978. I have had my own brokerage firm in Charlotte, North Carolina for about 15 years. I love showing houses to folks, especially fixer-uppers. It is so rewarding to see a property that has been neglected be restored to its former beauty. I also edit books, occasionally. The most widely publicized book that I was the editor for was one entitled "From the Heart of Racing" with Ron Camacho and Max Heldon. It was fashioned similar to the "Chicken Soup for the Soul" Series. WalMart bought the exclusive rights to the first massive printing. I also do a little writing on my own, but it is more interesting for me to take someone else's work and help to tweak it a bit.
