Singer/songwriter Angela Rose has been working hard for many years towards her goal to be a successful vocalist.
Performing shows in and around CT, she has accomplished a great number of stage credits including opening for national recording artists such as Method Man, Jon Legend, Lyfe Jennings, Talib Kweli, Elliot Yamin, Frankie J., PM Dawn, Omarion, Marcus Houston, and Sean Paul.
She has also done shows for radio stations, including opening for NLT at the Kiss 95.7 Scion show in Hartford, CT and was also a finalist in the Kiss 95.7 OPENING FOR BACKSTREET BOYS CONTEST.
Most recently she has been making a name for herself in her areas local music scene, and been proud to take the stage and work with many independent musicians, producers, and artists in her area. She is currently a lead singer in the cover band "BLONDE SOUL" and also is a part of an acoustic duo called "CLOUD 9" featuring herself and the amazing Fear Nuttin Band guitarist Jay Chung. With a great deal of business savvy, remarkable talent, and steadfast drive she has continued towards her goals with steady progress; growing, maturing, and improving on all of her already credible skills with every step she takes.
She is a trained vocalist, who travels to Manhattan, NYC on a regular basis to see vocal coach Adam Roebuck, a skilled trainer who is certified by the world renowned vocal coach Seth Riggs, known for working with stars such as Prince, Stevie Wonder, Fleetwood Mac and many more.
Her unique sound is timeless, soothing and sophisticated.
Working with producers and musicians in a variety of different fields and genre, she has found her balanced voice to be quite a gift, allowing her to be versatile and leaving her with greater creative option.
Whether doing rock, soul, r&b, funk, or even hip hop, she is undoubtedly a natural with adapting to her musical surroundings.
Her first full length demo album titled A WOMAN SCORNED offers a variety of different musical inspirations.
She is a songwriter who digs deep and writes with honest passion about situations that many are sure to relate to and understand. Her straightforward lyrics tell a story as well as convey feeling that can be appreciated.
Writing all of the lyrics in her songs, arranging the melodies and harmonies entirely herself on most of her work, and taking care to make sure her producers understand what she wants her songs to express musically, she has successfully created a collection of works that are personal, yet universal, all at the same time.
There is no doubt that the combination of this young womans talent, drive, motivation, and determination are going to lead her to great success.
She is closer to her dreams with every step and not one day goes by that she is not more accomplished than she was the day before.
