Rudy Ramos

Rudy Ramos jr. born 1982 in San Jose, ca. he got his love for music at an early age. While growing in the bay area his father (Rudy Ramos Sr.) shared his love for music through live instruments, song writing and studio work. When he was 11 Rudy found himself in the recording studio helping his dad record his project “Lets Get Serious” in 1993, but it wasn’t until 1996 that Rudy discovered turntables. “I was at my buddies house in concord, ca. when I first seen what turntables could do”. Six months later he got some tables for himself and began learning the art of mixing and turntablism. Since then Dj Rudy has gotten state wide attention for his flawless mixes and his powerful crowd control, and has gotten nation wide attention from his mixed cd’s such as: “Feel the Grove”, “No Respect”, and his latest recording “Seven Seconds of Silence”. During his career in the underground scene Dj Rudy Co-founded Somar Recording Company, Founded Funky Coalition Productions, Sound Sessions and has worked with artists such as: Frank Jones, Kwashi, Joey Mazola, Terry Mullan, Barry Weaver, Anthony Charles, David Garcia, Donald Glaude, Joey Alaniz, Dj chase, Rob Bishop, Dj Champ, Marlon Deshun, Blake Mathis ect...
