With so many musical genres emerging almost daily, it seems that they act more as boundaries than definitions. Ephraim is not limiting themselves to boundaries. Instead, they push the boundaries of genres and blend musical creativity into one spectrum, rock. Rarely do bands emerge with the boldness to be so broad in their style, but with the vast influences and fluidity of passion that backs each member uniquely, broadness in their musicality is inevitable. Passion is a prime adjective that comes to mind upon seeing their explosive live show and meeting them in person. This passion also adds a distinctive flair to each of the songs that fly off their creative arsenal. We dont write songs to fit a specific style or genre, we just write with whatever is inspiring us at the time. guitarist Tucker Pool states. We write songs that fans can relate to, mostly filled with hope. We all get so caught up in the mistakes of other people that we let it define who they are and how we perceive them. The way we perceive people should be defined by love and respect. This attitude ultimately became the focus, and title, of their highly anticipated second release We Get Caught Up in the Mistakes EP. The album was recorded at Next Level Recording Studios in Tulsa and mixed by Clay Allen (Pillar tour manager) and is rapidly gaining national attention among fan and industry worlds with diversity and hook laden explosive songs.
With a over a couple hundred shows under their belt in 2 years of constant playing, Ephraim has rapidly been making more than a name for themselves. Word of mouth is catching on like wildfire as the Grasshopper Assault, the bands innovative street team, grows to cover areas where the band has never been before. Though their diverse style has evolved over 3 years to create a sound to be only entitled as aggressive rock, the thing that will remain unchanged is the future is looking very promising for this Oklahoma born band.
