New found passion and respect for CAPOEIRA (where have you been all my life?!) in no particular order--being w/ friends and family, DANCING, nature, hiking, live music and outdoor festivals, sports, tailgaiting, Gator football, although I enjoy good movies, I would much rather be DOING something w/ that time, people-watching,I have the utmost love and appreciation for art and music, food and eating, good wine, good beer, good whiskey and scotch, Hanger vodka, wine/scotch, etc tastings, ICE CREAM!
I'm a people person, so I enjoy meeting people in general. I'd like to (re)connect w/ ghosts of friendly past, present, and future.p.s. you know if you're psychotic or just plain crazy...if you are, please don't hit me up.. it's a) freaky and b) a waste of your time and mine
I was the lucky one who was raised on the classics. My mom filled the house w/ Sinatra, Nina, Ella, BILLY, Miles, Joni, etc. My brothers, being teenagers of the 80's, filled my ears w/ the likes of Zepplin, The Doors, Skynnard, Janis, Hendrix, Marley and Tosh. I stepped in w/ the likes of 80's hair bands, and my sister filled in the slots of 80's pop. Needless to say, I love and appreciate ALL music. I've spent the last 10 years of my life IN the music industry, from funk to punk, jazz and blues, jam and emo. As mentioned above, I feel that there is a song to put you into, or pull you out of, any and every mood. You'll find me chillin' w/ at an acoustic set, barefoot and dancing at an outdoor festival, moshin' in the pit, gettin' down at an after-hours club, or boppin' to old school 70's and 80's. I really don't discriminate when it comes to music. I'm that tortured artist that can't play an instrument, but I'll be damned if I can't dance to any beat!
The Outsiders, Scarface, Grease (1 and 2), Goonies, Office Space, This Is Spinal Tap, Almost Famous, Animal House, Snatch, High Fidelity, Momento, Fight Club, Red Shoes Diary, Sliding Doors, Casino, Donnie Darko, Requiem for a Dream, Goonies, Flashdance, Love Actually, The Breakfast Club, Usual Suspects, 16 Candles, Porky's (1 and 2)
Don't watch much of it..but, you've gotta love the following: The Wonder Years, Good Times, Sex and the City, Entourage, SIX FEET UNDER (RIP), Welcome Back Kotter, Discovery Channel, South Park, Project Runway (i can't help it!)
I wish I had more time to read. I'm one of those that reads about 3-5 books at the same time..yet I never end up finishing. My all time favorite book of all time is "Oh the Places You'll Go" by Dr. Seuss. I like books based on spirituality and discovery (The Seeker's Guide, by Elizabeth Lesser and Choices, by Melody Beattie are the best). I'm a fan of The Notebook, The DaVinci Code, and music bios (Pearl0. I keep buying more and more books, becaused I'd LIKE to read them. The goal here is to chill, limit it to one at a time, and finish! Right..w/ what time?
