Abigail Rosie Gamgee

Seriously, the words "About Me" are very general. The truth is that I never know what to say when asked about myself. I can tell you where I plan to go when I die, and who my best friend is. But who am I? My name is Abby and I am a child of the only person who even cares to know me. I am a child of God's. I wish I could say that all that I do on this earth is done solely by the bidding of the Lord my God. Alas, even as I write this, pangs in my heart grow sharper when I think that I am merely a defamed copy of God's pure image. I try to be the best ambassador for Christ that I possibly can be. However, the thought that plagues my mind is this: I could do everything in the name of Christ Jesus but if I don't have a relationship with him, I can't get into heaven to be with him. That is, afterall, what he wants. This is true for anyone and everyone who has ever sinned. In case you're not sure:
"For all have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God" - Romans 3:23.
The coming of Heaven isn't too far off from this time. Meanwhile during my lifetime here on Earth I have obtained a few interests and relationships and also hope that I will be able to bring the light of Christ into these areas. I like to spend my God-given time on Earth playing and listening to music. I don't play the piano as often as I would like to (I have been told that it is noisy and bothers others in my household). However, I can sit for hours on end in my room and practice my guitar. When the occasion arises, I enjoy watching the Olympic Games on television. In addition to these interests, I also enjoy traveling in the name of the Lord to places all over the globe. Such have in the past included Jamaica, Ocean City (twice), Mexico, and South Africa (twice). In answer to a frequent question, the background picture was taken by me in the summer of 2005. It is a pond on the compound where I stayed in South Africa.
When not traveling abroad, I am proud to call my Earthly home Catonsville, Maryland. God has blessed me with a beautiful home in this suburb which resides not twenty minutes from where I attended high school (2001-2005)and also college (2004-2006). I know that I just made them sound as if they are the same building, however, these are not the same buildings or even a part of the same property even though they are across the road from one another, conveniently. Respectively they are Catonsville High School and The Community College of Baltimore County, Catonsville Campus. I know that this short summary of my existance up to this point has probably seemed bleak. Nonetheless I enjoy jokes and being funny myself. I praise God for laughter becuase I know that He, through it, has worked wonders in my life.
